Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by not satisfied... check in time was 4pm...I got there at 3 :55 and my king room was not ready...I waited half an hour then room was finally ready...I went in to get a shower..no shower curtain and no towels..I called down and never received a towel ...I had to search for room service to get a towel....so much for a stress free birthday weekend!! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mercedes showed great service! My family and I stayed at Holiday Inn Express and Suites Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach SC for a family reunion. Holiday Inn Express' are usually our preference when we have our reunions. Our stay was good but a few changes would've made it great! Such as, a very large stain was on the carpet in one of our rooms; door lock was removed on the bathroom door; and only 3 towels/wash cloths were received in a double queen room - causing us to have to go down to the front desk to get another - should've been at least 4 - this was very inconvenient. Other than that our stay was enjoyable because of Mercedes' wonderful smile and attitude! Also, they gave us a great suggestion to use Ripley's Aquarium for our catering needs! Thank you! Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Unsatisfied Hotel is very nice. But has a horrible booking experience. Also, double billed for a one night stay and we are STILL trying to get the issue resolved. The front desk worker, James, was not only rude to me but also another customer trying to check out that was also billed incorrectly. July 30, 2014
