Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay! We enjoyed our say at the Holiday Inn Express. We stayed there during move in week for the College. It was a nice room, comfortable beds, they provided cookies in milk in the foyer for hotel guests returning that evening and of course the breakfast in the morning. Only negative thing I would say is I would have preferred it to be priced more affordable. It was one of the only rooms left in the city so we had to take the room and the cost. But it was a great hotel and I would stay and recommend to friends and family. September 3, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great value, comfortable Nice , comfortable but the front desk staff didn't listen well. September 1, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn Express Nacogdoches Tx First time at this very nice facility. Very clean and comfortable. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Location and breakfast were adequate. Being off a major highway where trucks run most of the day into the night can be a problem for getting into and out of location. All in all, highly recommend if in this area. August 29, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Concerned I made the reservation over the phone and called back several time to confirm, but was placed on hold for longe periods of time. Once placed on hold for over 15mins, and once placed on hold and never returned back . I requested for a supervior to contact me , but as before I had to call the next day to make the same request. I informed the supervisor of the situation, hopefully they correct the issue. August 28, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good rest After a long day at the ball field, we were able to get a good shower and relax in a clean, comfotable room. August 28, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic service Been staying there for several years when I come to Nacogdoches to teach. From my first stay I was treated like one of the family, and not just another guest or number.Even tho they are in the midst of remodeling its the staff that really comes thru. August 28, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Hot in East Texas I arrived on the afternoon of August 20th. When i checked in and got to the room, the air conditioning unit had been turned off. REALLY......trun of fthe AC in East Texas in August....... The wireless internet service did not work during the entre stay and this is not the first time this has occured as i have stayed at this hotel a number of times before. On the first morning there, the door lock would not work and when i reported the problem to the front desk the person there seemed unconcerened that i could not lock the door. I have stayed in many Holiday Inns and am a Platimum member, but this may be the last time i stay at this hotel unless i can get some satisfaction from management. August 26, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by good night sleep and very helpful We had a good night sleep . The desk staff was very helpful in directing us to the Catholic Church the next morning. Breakfast was hot and plentiful. Glad we found it as we were driving through. August 17, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very friendly staff Enjoyed the stay. Short on luggage carts. Sad to leave on a shortage that shouldn't happen. August 17, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by never thought Reserved a suite. Room temp was 82 degrees. Ended up going to 2 rooms that evening. In the end , experience was good because my kids got to play in the pool! August 15, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Unhappy with the property Stayed two at the property and overall was not as comfortable as I have been over the years at Holiday Inn. The first night we did not have access to a working TV. Second night the toilet was stopped up and the front desk staff attempted to correct the problem without any luck. It will not be my first choice the next time I visit Nacogdoches. August 9, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Hot! A/C in room 301 on 3rd floor was not adequate for the 100+ degree weather. We were uncomfortable all night both nights that we stayed at the hotel. Not to mention the 3rd floor was scorting hot with only two small window units at each end if the hall for the entire floor. Our bathroom had a big gaping hole in the tile and remote control for the TV was ancient. Very disappointing. I've booked the hotel again in a few weeks, and I will give them one more chance them I will move on. I have rewards points with HI & my daughter will be attending college at SFA, therefore I will be staying in a hotel room in Nac 9-12 times a year for the next 4+ years. I can deal with many things, but being hot is unacceptable. August 8, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not impressed We have stayed in many Holiday Inn Express' , this one was below the standards of the others. The room was clean for the most part however had a musty smell to it and later in the night we found the floor by the Air Conditioner to be soaking wet. This Hotel also had the smallest pillows I have ever seen. The breakfast was also disappointing, They did have a large variety of items to choose from but the Biscuits, gravy and ham were all terrible. We will not stay at this particular Holiday Inn Express again. August 2, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by East Texas Hospitality Very nice stay. The staff was attentive and polite. Amenities were very nice. I especially enjoyed the wild game feeder in the field behind the hotel. I didn't see anything during my one night stay, but I applaud the out-of-the-box thinking with this idea. July 27, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great NOA Gathering The hotel staff and the hotel were great for our gathering. First class operation. July 26, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Average stay Room is ok....bathroom outlets didn't work and tile rusting off bathroom wall. Needs TLC July 22, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nacogdoches Stay My stay was OUTSTANDING. Highly recommend this Hotel to anyone going to the area. July 12, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very good experience . As usual, the Holiday Inn Express was excellent. Having never been to Nacogdoches, I was concerned about convenience and location. This was not a problem as entry and exit onto the main street was very easily accessed. July 4, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Nice unless you go into the bathroom I have stayed at this property several times in the past and all was well. However, it is getting pretty old. While they have redone the carpet and some other things in the room, the bathroom was simply deplorable. The tub was coming apart in large pieces. It would be dangerous to even get in it. Pieces were still in the drain. I would not even get into it for a shower. The floor tile was coming up. So, the room was fine - but I sure wouldn't stay there again. The TV had a loose connection and the cable kept going in and out. June 26, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful Experience It was great to end our five hour journey at this Holiday Inn Express. The staff performed their duties very professionally with the greatest amount of courtesy. The rooms were extremely clean without complaint. As always, the in room microwave and frig came in very handy. Of course, the complementary breakfast was the icing on the cake. We rated the overall experience a five star and would recommend this lodging to any traveling through the area. May 23, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by The front desk lady was very helpful with restaurant recommendations. The facuet in the bath tub would not shut off. It was this way whenever I got there. I reported it to the front desk upon my departure although the maid had to see it and didn't get it repaired during my stay. May 21, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Space and Maximum Efficiency We were delighted with our recent stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Nacogdoches. The handicapped facilities were as advertised and the convenience for use was superb. It was a crowded weekend because of SFA Graduation and Mother's Day, but it was always pleasant and the breakfast area was kept clean and orderly despite the large number of families. May 19, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by sleep disrupted We were jolted awake by an unwelcome automated Wake-up call at 4:15 AM. No idea if a previous guest guest left one that didn't get removed from the automated system or if we got the call meant for another room, but it made for a very long day as I was unable to get back to sleep. On previous stays at this hotel we were recognized as priority club members, but not this time. We wondered if it depends on whose working the front desk? or the particular day we checked in? Just curious. May 14, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean Rooms and comfortable beds I always enjoy my stay at this hotel. We try and stay here whenever we are in town to vist our daughter at SFA. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and the beds are comfortable. May 13, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Weekend Stay Very good experience with a few bumps. Internet service was very poor. Had to call the desk twice for assistance. Desk personnel wasn't very friendly. Skipped the cookie and milk promotion, I think it's unsanitary the way it's presented. April 19, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome New Renovatios! I have stayed at this hotel for business on and off over the past 4 months. All the while they have been quitely upgrading the look and feel. Only thing i suggest is dont stay in the room by the elevator. April 15, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not up to standards The tub area of my room was in disrepair, looked like something I might expect at a much lesser hotel chain. The tub was coming apart and the wallpaper was coming unglued at the seams. Please don't make me wait (for several minutes) to check in while you are taking a phone call. March 12, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Place to Rest Comfortable bed and excellent service. Rooms are ideal for 2 people but a little cramped with 4. We had our 2 grandchildren along. The breakfast was ok but very bland. The one thing that needs attention is the Cookie and Milk promotion. It's held in the lobby and should be in the commons area. The milk should be in cartons, not poured from a pitcher. Grownups and children refilling used cups and touching the lip of the pitcher...very unsanitary. We enjoyed the cookies but passed on the milk. March 12, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place Great place to stay I really enjoyed it. These guys thought about many of the little things most places miss. March 4, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very Good The Nacogdoches HIE needs to teach Shreveport HIE how to run a hotel. The manager and other staff members at Nacodoches are very friendly. Breakfast starts at 6:00 which is great. The only thing I'd like to see is a happy hour as at other HIE at least one night a week. Priority Club bag is always well stocked. February 18, 2013
