Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Usually we are exceptionally pleased with HIE We had to pay $23.00 for parking in their parking garage. I could have stayed away from Downtown, at the regular Holiday Inn in Nashville, where there were an ample amount of restaurants; and free parking. Plus, I would not have had to see a plethora of drunkards wandering the lobby like Zombies, and and man screaming multiple profane words when the Elevator doors opened in the lobby,during my Check-In experience. In addition, the bathtub had a soap scum ring and hair in it. December 18, 2014

The bed was comfortable and I enjoy the regular size pillow. The small ones are very uncomfortable and I have seen them at some of the IHG properties. December 15, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by First Nashville Experience This was a great 1st introduction to Nashville hospitality. We checked in early (9:00 am) and there was a room already available. We were lucky to be in a renovated room, so I am sure that there are other rooms that were still older. The staff was very nice and helpful. They have a text program that allows for you to text the front desk with questions and requests rather than call. It is right on Broadway, and a quick 5 minute walk to all the "hotspots" Overall, great stay. The cost was a little high, however the rest of the hotels in the downtown area were booked for 2 sporting events, so it was understandable. Will stay there again next time we visit. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to stay in Downtown Nashville My family went to Nashville for a long weekend and had a great stay at the Nashille-Downtown Holiday Inn. The staff was very accomodating and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast offered was very good with a wide selection of things to eat. A nice feature was the quickness of the elevators even with all of the guests. We used the shuttle several times over the weekend and it was responsive very convenient. We will be back again. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Two night Nashville visit Only five blocks from all the hot spots on Broadway and the Ryman. Easy walk, if you prefer, there is a free (tip the driver) shuttle. The Opry is about twelve miles out on the edge of town which we caught on the way out of town. The hotel is an older property made into a HI Express, nice big lobby and breakfast area as well as efficient elevators, indoor underground parking which is at an extra cost as in most cities. The room was a bit worn but clean and comfortable, the staff was great with directions and recommendations for things to see and do. We will stay here again when in town. December 10, 2014
