Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location This hotel is located in the perfect location. It is blocks away from great things no matter which way you turn onto Broadway!. If you go left downtown is a couple blocks away. If you go right there are some hidden gems. November 17, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not my cup of tea Ok so I don't want to sound negative, but it is. This place needs some work. I checked in on 11-9-14 for a week long conference. The front office staff was nice. When I made it up to my room, I noticed several long black hairs in the bath tub. I called the front office and complained that there were many hairs in the bathtub. They asked if I wanted to change rooms and I said yes. They called me back and said they were going to upgrade me to a 1-bedroom suite for my problems. I finally got my new keys to the new room and everything seemed nice. About 20 minutes later one of the females from the front desk knocked on my door and personally wanted to know if everything was ok. She then presented me with a gift card to a restaurant that was near by. She said that the hairs were from housekeeping and apologized for the actions of the housekeeper. Housekeeping needs some work. The first day, I had some several small towels hanging on the towel bar in the bathroom, I used them on the bathroom floor so I wouldn't track water throughout the room after I got out of the shower. I got to use those once, because they were never replaced. I opened the blinds in the front room and looked up, and the ceiling was falling down, there was already a large spot of where the drywall was exposed. The rooms were not cleaned in a timely manner. When I got back to my room at 330 in the afternoon and the room was not cleaned, I got irked. No I didn't report this to the front desk because it simply would not have mattered based on the number of housekeepers on staff they were busy. My group utilized the free shuttle, that was nice to use since we didn't have to pay for taxis. The breakfast buffet was nice, it had a good selection of food items, but didn't use since I had packed my own breakfast items in my suitcase because I was usually gone by the time the breakfast bar opened up in the mornings. Overall, I gave the lower score based off of the housekeeping staff. I do not plan on staying at the Holliday Inn Express in Nashville again. November 15, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Near the action. Great location - just outside of the hubbub of Broadway but close enough to walk. Comfortable, up-to-date furnishings. Friendly staff. Large breakfast room, but would have liked more variety of options day-to-day. We were there several days and it was the same offerings everyday. Staff kept the breakfast bar replenished. We will stay there again when we return to Nashville. November 14, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Wonderful hotel. We very much enjoyed this facility. We landed in Nashville and then drove all the way to Charleston and stayed at a different hotel almost every night. This Holiday Inn Express was the best. I had originally made reservations for 3 nights and we spent longer at a couple of cities so I called and cancelled the first of our 3 nights. Then we caught up and needed that extra night again so I called and they were very gracious in accommodating us. These rooms are very nice and roomy and clean. The location is great and one of the stops for the Red Trolly is right across the street. The breakfast is first class and the free hotel shuttle makes getting into the center of town very easy, though it is walking distance. November 11, 2014
