Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Tulip001 great breakfast
this hotel is in desperate need of remodel - rooms are horribly aged and uncleanable - we were given a handicap room - why? - we are not handicapped and did not request a handicap room - the bathroom vanity was very small - front desk was very matter of fact - no friendly warmth - room prices outrageous - out of the 500+ rooms I have stayed in during my travels this is the second worst room
I have ever stayed in - I do not recommend this hotel

Only unpleasant surprise was the $25.00 per day parking fee. Otherwise, my stay was wonderful. Romm and public areas waere clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mandy B. Easy Walking Distance to all the Bars
The location for this hotel is great if you're in Nashville to listen to the music and have a few drinks in the bars. There is also a free shuttle that will take you to a few different downtown locations. The breakfast is what you'd expect from any Holiday Inn Express; free and offering several different hot choices as well as cold options. The property isn't dirty, but you can tell there is a lot of foot traffic and turnover. The room we were in was clean and comfortable but on the verge of becoming worn down. A welcomed surprise was a free hot snack in the afternoon with some live music in the lobby. I enjoyed my stay, and I'd stay again; my only frustration was with the price. Parking was not free and it cost a ridiculous amount to stay for one weekend evening. It's comparable to the prices of the other Nashville properties in the area, but I can't help but feel it was over priced.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LoisN Beautiful Room and Great Service
My husband and I stayed here for 1 night when we came into town unexpectedly for a night. The foyer is beautiful and the staff very welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean and well maintained and the beds, as always, comfy. The proximity to the Honky Tonks on Broadway is unbelievable, maybe a 5 minute walk. I wondered why I had not discovered this gem on my previous visits.
As with most hotels in Downtown Nashville, it tends to be a bit expensive but if you are going to Nashville, downtown is THE place to be!

Was there three nights. Floors in the hallway 6th floor were dirty and littered. Never vacuumed while we were there. Carpet in room was stained and felt sticky. Overall the hotel is old and dated! Breakfast was ok, certainly not restaurant quality but for hotel buffet style, not bad. Location is great. Close to every need and to entertainment . In its current condition I do not consider it a good value and would not stay here again!

I was pleased with the variety of breakfast foods available. You could dine on healthy items, or indulge on those not so healthy items - biscuit and sausage gravy. Of course I had the biscuit and gravy! What you eat away from home doesn't count, right?

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Scott1977 Great service and a perfect location
The VERY friendly staff were pleasant and fun to work with. They surpassed our expectations and truly made our stay even more enjoyable. Our original reservation was for two nights but we extended it to three after the first night. We liked our room and hoped we wouldn't have to move. We were allowed to stay in our room and the process was efficient, thorough and fully explained.
The short walk from all the action on Broadway was a nice way to wind down an evening of fun.
The ONLY small downside is if your room is on Broadway, you may be awakened by an occasional ambulance. There must be a hospital or fire department close by.
We loved the property and fully intend to stay there again on our next trip to Nashville.
