Excellent location for entertainment and restaurants. Helpful staff with a shuttle that took us to all eating, convention, and entertainment venues. Clean and very quiet considering we were on Broadway.Jo

We stayed for the week of Christmas. The staff was amazing Especially Daisy at the front desk, she went out of her way to help make our stay memorable. The location couldn't be better blocks away to downtown. the Hotel itself could use updating looks to be a bit older. Have no complaints and will be sure to stay again.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Nashville. It was our first visit there and we found that the Holiday Inn Express was an excellent place to stay. Friendly and helpful staff, and the rooms were very nice. Would recommend to anyone!

I stayed here on New Year's Eve and parking was an absolute mess! There were not enough parking spaces to accomodate all guests, the parking garage was terribly designed, impossible to turn around in and too crowded to back up in. I saw multiple drivers get their cars stuck in situations that took 20+ minutes to maneuver out of. At $20/night, not acceptable! Hotel is nice in that its within walking distance to everything (or at least downtown Broadway) Beyond that, just your average hotel. Oh, and the sink in our bathroom smelled like vomit upon our arrival, so that wasn't great either...

We were in Nashville to see the Old Crow Medicine Show ring in the New Year. Some friends of ours were reluctant to pay the high price for the downtown hotel. They stayed at the Holiday Inn next to the airport and waited 2.5 hours for a cab while we just walked 5 blocks back and went to sleep.

The service and attention of the staff caught my attention. I travel 100+ nights per year and I recall few hotels with the staff of this quality.

Great location as you can walk to the downtown area very quickly. Close to music venues, including Roberts and the Ryman; and close to museums, including the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Frist Art Gallery. Easy access to the highway to head down to Franklin for a day of shopping.

I stay at this Holiday Inn on a regular basis when in Nashville as it is always clean, staff is always great, and location is super close to everything on the strip. Wish they would come down a little bit on the price of a basis room.

Room was very out dated. The level of noise made it difficult to sleep. The amount paid for this nights stay was overpriced for the atmosphere of the overall stay. I would not recommend staying at this particular hotel.

We stayed here for a weekend get away and couldn't have been happier with the stay. Very nice staff and the shuttle drivers were very helpful. Also, a very nice fitness center.

This property is a bit old, the lobby looks very nice but the hallways and rooms show their age. The gated Parking lot is small and difficult to leave from. On the panel there are several buttons but only one opens the gate. It is not marked and doesn't even look like you should push it, in frustration I pushed everything then it opened. On the day we were to leave housekeeping knocked on our door at 8am, waking us, to ask if we were leaving. Front desk apologized but saying they should have known. Right, but too late now, and why didn't she ask the front desk first. I'll try somewhere else next time.

We came down for a sports event. We have stayed at Holiday Inn Express before in other places. This one is a little old looking inside. The rooms were ok, could use a hook in the bathroom for a robe.... the pancake maker was out of service... breakfast was still good. We realized we left a pair of glasses in the room. The staff was able to find them and they were sent to me, after a bit of phone tag, and I was happy to get them back. That is the first time I have EVER gotten something back from a hotel, even if I called IMMEDIATELY after checking out. I am impressed by that. HIE is my favorite chain and I will continue to use them whenever I travel. I can't remember if I was recognized as a Priority Member... I booked 2 rooms for this trip, and it was a little pricey for the week end. More than I would have liked to pay for a week end.

Love location to bars and entertainment, easy highway access
Breakfast should not be with plastic utensils and styrofoam plates. Not very earth friendly. With green industry there should be recycling of materials etc. you could promote this in your ads!
Friendly staff.
Would be nice to have a sofa in king rooms. Instead of chair

This hotel is as good as it gets.
How friendly and helpful the entire staff was really surprised me, and right before I left something happened that put the icing on the cake.
The morning I was leaving I attempted to use the soda machine, and my dollar got stuck in the machine (the dollar was visible, but it couldn't be pulled out). The maintenance man came, and instead of having me go through the hassle of getting my dollar back from the front desk, he reimbursed me from his own pocket right then and there. Talk about service.

This was our first trip to Nashville and we couldn't have been happier. The hotel greeted us with a very helpful and friendly staff who got us settled into our rooms, assisted with parking, then gave us a great rundown of the local entertainment, dining, shopping, and sightseeing acitivites. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and very well maintained (the bed was just a little too firm for my liking). The breakfast selection was awesome and left us wanting nothing more. The hotel is within easy walking distance of great shopping and entertainment. We enjoyed an easy walk to Antique Archaeology, the state capitol, Fort Negley civil war fort, the Ryman Auditorium, and a number of other great entertainment venues in the "L.". We returned to the hotel one evening to find live entertainment in the lobby with free popcorn, meetballs, and beverages. At the end of our stay, the checkout process was quick and easy and the staff enthusiastically invited us back for another stay. The whole visit was just great and the staff of the hotel were superb! We will go back!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this hotel. I've stayed here several times and am always happy I do. Other than the $20 per night parking, its a great place to stay near everything you would want for a safe downtown Nashville experience. Worth the price, great service, and walk to the nightlife without worry.

In town for a concert and to experience the Nashville scene. Holiday Inn Express was good value, easy access off I-40, clean rooms, nice staff. Shuttle service to my destination saved me a few bucks in taxi fare. Young man playing live music in lobby at check in was a nice touch. Felt very safe coming back to this location after a late night of fun. Although I didn't like paying $20 for parking on top of hotel cost, I was allowed to stay in the garage until 6pm on day of my checkout to allow me extra time while sight-seeing. Overall, I would return and recommend to friends.

I had a family emergency and reserved five rooms for my family of 10. Room Rate went up on Friday, Sat because of a game in town that weekend. If we started our stay on Wed. and left on Sat. our room rate sould have stayed the same.

We were very pleased with our stay. Great location. The hotel was almost full and I discovered I had to sstay two more nights unexpectedly. The front desk worked to make it possible and was very nice in helping me. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Clean and comfortable rooms and good breakfast.

I can't say enough about the services at this hotel. I read the reviews and most complaints seemed petty so I decided to give it a shot because of the location and I am sure glad I did. We arrived to a wonderful greeting by Deisy who helped the 10 of us get settled right away with keys and information about the shuttle and some excellent recommendations for the evening. The next morning the breakfast was good. Two buffet lines and two coffee stations and two pancake makers. There was a little of everything hot and cold so there were plenty of choices and plenty of seating. We were driving outside of Nashville the first day and Kelly at the front desk helped us mapquest all our routes from one to the next. What a help that was when you don't know the area. Deisy was there when we returned and greeted me by name. She and Kelly were just wonderful to us. They also printed our boarding passes for us the last day. The room itself was large and the bathroom was a good size. The linen was immaculate and the beds comfy. I loved that we were less that a ten minute walk from the music, shops, and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

My ONLY complaint with this facility is that the shuttle doesn't operate on Sundays, and is also out of operation between 12-6. This can sometimes be inconvenient.

Outstanding staff and facilities. Great location within walking distance to Broadway bars, Bridgestone Arena and LP Field. We have been staying at this property 3-5 times a year since 2006 and have never had a problem!

Stayed here on a weekend getaway to a Bears game. Staff was very friendly and accomdating. The room was nice and clean, however, when I went to shower in the morning, I noticed a used wash cloth hanging in the shower that the cleaning staff must have missed. The location was great, right down the street from the bars so we walked everywhere. Overall, great stay and would come back again.
