experience was awful. THe maids were cleaning until 2 o'clock in the morning. We did not get any sleep the whole night.

The staff was AWESOME and accommodating. The cleaning staff was friendly and cheerful. The shuttle drivers were prompt and efficient with the ride to and from the airport. I could not have had a better stay elsewhere. THANK YOU NASHVILLE !

Room had a sour smell. Mtc. Came and cleaned AC filters and sprayed deodorizer, but never got rid of smell.the loobbies and atriums were great, but the room just came across as dirty.

The bed and pillows were great! Unfortunately, our shower didn't drain well at all. Also, the blow dryer in the bathroom didn't work. It took two phone calls to front desk and a total of about 30 minutes to get another one. (By then my hair was almost dry but un-styled.)

It took too long to check in, with employees that seemed to be doing nothing, not stepping up to help the one person checking in guests. At check in, I was given a key to an occupied room. Then on day 2 of my stay, our keys quit working. The staff was not rude, but was not apologetic or pleasant either.

Our room was right over the entrance and the security lights shined into the room all night. The room was brighter during the night then it was in the day with the lights out. The curtains were sheer and see through and the drapes were decorative only and could not be closed. If you like sleeping in a bright room ask for 303, I am not condemning the entire hotel, but give me a break, put different drapes on a room that has 2 huge lights right outside the window.

We had a great room with a balcony. We loved swimming in the pool. The lovely atrium was a wonderful place to relax and have breakfast, althought the area was tight. We even had some cookies that were on the counter one evening. There was free parking and we were near downtown Nashville, but we saved quite a bit of money by staying about 15 minutes away from Downtown. The staff was friendly and helpful. It would have been nice to have self service laundry facilities.

Having chosen this location due to its proximity to the airport, and with the Holiday Inn Express logo in my mind being a reputable name, I must say this location was only so/so. Kinda disappointed since we stayed for a week. Arrived by plane early, blonde lady at check in states "Are you checking in, oh come back at 3". It was 1pm. Didn't even offer to see if our room was ready. What were we to do for 2 hrs? Anyway, first room (235) A/C went out on the 2nd day after a power outage due to storm. Called the desk, they had maintenance check it. Called again when we returned to room, desk states "Oh he said it is blowing cool air". Yes, but not A/C! Whatever. Insisted on another room. 2nd room (240) was stinky and damp, like no one had been in it for a long time. Housekeeper even commented on the smell. At least A/C worked. Was a miserable next 4 days in the smell and dampness. Breakfast was good, but Carol needs to be more people friendly and smile. Asked her 2 different times if she had a towel to wipe table off. She proceeded to hand ME the towel and I wiped the table. Whatever. One other note, since we had a 1 week reservation, I would have thought we would get a room with a fridge and microwave. Didn't ask since I didn't know or wasnt offered these when I did reservation. Didnt know they were available. Again customer service would have been better if they would have seen the 1 week stay and put us in a room with these amenities. This location is nice in the lobby area, but the 2 rooms we were in need some major upgrading. Looks kinda run down, more like a motel as the previous poster stated. Would probably look to a more modern place with a suite for a 1 week stay in the future. Also, business center printers were out of ink and paper, unable to print boarding passes. Front desk lady states didn't have access to ink. Oh well. Holiday Inn Express needs to give this place some updating and customer service tips. Neat pancake machine!!

This "hotel" is an old motel style property cheaply made over to be a Holiday Inn. It shows its age at every wall, bath,"closet" etc.... This place gives Holiday Inn Express and all they're like properties a bad name. I am a IHG platinum member and stay at many IHG properties and this is the poorest one by far. This was only added to by the front desk giving my room accidentally to someone at 11:30pm and being woken up to what I thought was a break in!

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Nashville Airport the night of July 14.
on July 15, Breakfast was supposed to be available until 9:30. I arrived at 8:50 and there were no Cinnamon Rolls, no eggs, no sausage.
I asked the breakfast attendant if she was going to put more Cinnamon Rolls out. She simply said "no". I asked eggs and sausage or anything else warm. Again, she simply said 'no" and walked away.
I ate cold cereal for breakfast. I could have done that by stopping at a gas station for food.
Holiday Inn Express builds marketing campaigns around their free breakfast. To shut it down 40 minutes early seems ill-advised. May have lost me as a customer.

Drain was not working in shower so water was standing in tub. Room 173 was right by ice maker in hall so very loud as coolers were being filled until midnight. Air conditioner did not work properly so room very hot.

even though it was for just one night. we enjoyed our stay. people were very friendly. we have stayed here before and for the cost it is was well worth it. the continental breakfast is excellent even though it gets crowded at times..The rooms are very clean and comfortable. My wife and I would highly recommend this Holiday Inn Express. We love staying here during the winter time when the huge fire place is blazing in the foyer and breakfast area.

Staff was super friendly and helpful but we got placed in the room closest to the lobby. Should have complained immediately , but didn't realize it would be SO bad until we were ready for bed. The noise from people in the lobby/ slash people walking down the hall was unbelievable and made it impossible to get any sleep. That room should not even be an option.
Location was great and was able to leave car parked there for a week for minimal cost.

Staff well trained to greet and meet guest. Front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful..Benjiman took us and picked us up at the Grand Ole Opry , he is a real asset to to the operation. He was able to negotiate traffic with ease and confort to us. And what a deal to be able to ride without worry of traffic. Breakfast was great and even got a friendly hug. Wonderful hospitality. If ever in Nashville, we will stay here.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly upon our arrival. Rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast area was very roomy with no traffic jams. This was a very nice place to stay for 3 nights on our vacation.

The hotel was nice and easy to get off of I24. The rooms were clean, beds comfy. The only complaint I have was that we called to confirm the bed sizes as we saw on line that they were double beds and they told us they were queen size. Needless to say, they were doubles. Other than the beds, the hotel was good. The breakfast was very good also.

Overall hotel was nice and clean, friendly staff, great water pressure in the shower, bed was comfortable, good selection of breakfast choices. Unfortunately, several loud guests in the outdoor courtyard and in the hallway made it difficult to sleep. Also the air conditioner was loud.

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon around 2:00 and were told there were no rooms ready (waiting on housekeeping to finish) since they had been completely full the previous night. I was then told rather rudely that check in wasn't until 3:00 so I shouldn't expect to check in since I was too early, Go away and come back later. We did, and there was still a delay after 3:00. Once I gave the girl my name, she got friendlier (probably after she saw I was a Priority club member). However, at no point did anyone acknowledge that fact, or offer any perks similar to what I've received in other HI Express.

As business travel is a weekly event for me, I try to stay at IHG prosperities whenever possible. Although the Holiday Inn Nashville Airport is not bad, it was not as good as it could have been. As a Priority Clue Gold member I expect my paper work to be completed when I arrive, but this was not the case and I had to sit and wait. There was not recognition of my Priority Club status. The room was ok except for the lighting in the bathroom, which consisted of two low voltage lights over the sink. With no light near the shower I latterly has to shower in the dark. I would not stay at this location again, if there are other IHG properties available.

I went on vacation to Nashville and had a great stay here. Staff I encountered were friendly and had pleasant southern charm. I was a bit worried the area would be loud being so close to the airport, but I never heard a plane pass by. Would definitely stay again - loved the modern atmosphere.

Staff was not friendly at all. When we returned from our flight called for shuttle. Waited for ever and finally hitched a ride with the Holiday Inn shuttle. Which their shuttle service was extremely nice and friendly. When they dropped us off we found both shuttles at the Holiday Inn Express to still be parked! Too many other options to go this route again.
