We had tons of questions as we hadn't been to Nashville before and they thoroughly answered them all. Likewise, the shuttle service to the airport & to the Grand Ole Opry is a terrific perk. However, the Opry is easily walkable as well. Great Stay!! May 28, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Not Customer Focused Being a Platinum member, I've stayed at a lot of Holiday Inn Express properties. This is the first property that I have checked into and asked for water only to be questioned if I wanted welcome points or a welcome bag. The clerk would not offer me water unless I took the bag. It can't be a big deal - it hasn't been at any other property, but I didn't get a bottle of water. To top it off, my Platinum status was not recognized and I was only thanked for being a "group member". Anyway, I booked my stay as paying for the first night and using a free night for the second, so I had two reservations. At check-in, I couldn't check in for both nights, I would have to return to the counter the next day to check out and check back in (at least it would only be on paper). I was greeted the next day at noon by the maid that asked why I hadn't checked out and that I needed to leave. I went down to the front desk to check back in, only to find that my key didn't work upon returning to the room, so back down to the front desk to get my room key working again. I expected some sort of apology for my need to make two back to back trips to the front desk or at least a water or welcome points (I did have to check in again after all), but I was only greeted with "she must have only programmed your key for one night". Not the slightest concern that I had been inconvenienced. There clearly is not a customer focus at this property. It's a nice property, and well maintained, but it lacks customer service.
