Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A Brand New Hotel (Totally Upgraded) This hotel has always been immaculate, always had a great breakfast -- and always has had a friendly and efficient staff. Now, with the upgrade to the hotel (both on the outside and the inside) the hotel is even better! Perfectly located -- this hotel is the ideal place to stay when visiting Nashville. August 31, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Best Value in Nashville Hotel rates in Nashville are high in general. This HIE was the most reasonable price I found. The hotel is undergoing major renovations but the staff went out of their way to make sure you were aware of the impact - like breakfast being downstairs in what is normally a meeting room, ice only available on 2nd floor, etc. i will be back. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Under construction! Not up to par. We were here in April, and back in August to take our daughter to college. We stayed there because of the location. It is still under construction and needs a lot of work. The ice machines on at least two floors were not working. I had to call the front desk to find out where I could get ice--it was on the main floor. Also, the breakfast hours are shorter than other Holiday Inn Express properties we have stayed at. We almost missed breakfast because we got in very late and they closed at 9:30! August 23, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Under Construction Booked this hotel - close to Vanderbilt. Location was close to school (<10 min). We were not told that it is being remodeled. No microwave in room. Low ceilings. Pillow cases were not changed after 2 days. Hotel seems old. Flood lights from exterior pointed towards room and stayed on all night. Staff at hotel very friendly. August 21, 2015
