Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Underwhelming I have stayed at this location at least 4-5 times and I am usually pleased except for their attentiveness to the wedding guests at the expense of the rest. Check-In It is 3:00pm, I arrived after 3:00pm and was told only two of my three rooms were ready. Not cool but things happen I guess, they should credit your account when that happens but whatever. I went to my two rooms and one of the two that was "ready" was FAR from it. I called down and someone was going to be sent up. 30 minutes later the room was still not serviced.....so I had to call back down again and they moved me to another room, well why not put me in that room to begin with!? Although as it will become apparent, I probably should have waited because the room I got was poor. Oh and not mention at ALL of my Platinum Priority Club Status, no asking if I wanted a water and snack or the 500 points. I told them I want the points, but they STILL are not on my account. Room: Overall it was good, but we got a total of 2 full towels, one washcloth and a hand towel.....that is it. The next morning when I asked for another towel I waited for over 25 minutes for nothing so I had to hunt one down by getting one from housekeeping who took one from an existing room. I was in room 212, first door to the right after walking through the lobby. DO NOT stay in this room unless you have earplugs and headphones! I called to the front desk about the noise level at somewhere close to midnight and they said they were sending security.....well they had to have heard it since they were right around the corner! They could have went out and said, keep it down and get in your room! The noise continued, I finally poked my head out at about 1am and there was nobody in the hallway, the noise and loud talking was coming from the lobby! From guests and staff alike! Don't get me wrong, there was a parade of drunks hooting and hollering down the hallway as well, I was just stunned at that moment that it was right in the lobby! This hotel has serviced weddings nearly every time I have stayed there and if they are going to do that, they need to realize that drunks come along with it and put them away from everyone else, put them on the ground floor closest to the lobby so they do not have to stroll through the hotel causing a scene. It is sad that I cannot get a night of sleep because they do not want to contain the drunks! I have always said but IHG will not listen, that if they can have no smoking rooms, they can have dry sections of the hotels so people that do not want to be bothered by drunks do not have to be. MISC. The wireless internet was brutal, worst of any hotel I have ever stayed in, I ended up just not bothering to use it as it was either incredibly slow or non-responsive. October 1, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Too noisy for sleep The beautifully updated rooms are wasted if you cannot sleep because of the noise from the hallway. If an effort had been made to seal the doors, it would have helped. We were there on the weekend. Maybe the weekday nights are quieter. October 1, 2014
