My family had a wonderful stay at the New Albany Holiday Inn. My children loved the pool area. Upon check in the systems were down, but Michelle did an outstanding job making sure all the guests were taken care of and checked in as quick as possible. I did want to make sure to thank the breakfast hostess that worked the morning of 7/18/15 she was probably the nicest person we encountered during our stay. I hate that I didn't catch her name. She was doing a great job.

The hotel is a little run down and needs updated. Breakfast area needs a waffle machine. In addition you need to use filtered water for you juice machine as the juice tastes nasty. Or just serve fresh juice minus the machine. Everyone knows fresh is best.

The staff was great. The girl at the front desk when we checked in was so quick and very knowledgable of the area. The breakfast was good and things were filled up quickly. Must stay. Thanks team.

When in town for a funeral we were treated with compassion and respect by Michelle at the front desk. She worked with Denise, the manager, to get us a special rate since it was for a funeral. Housekeeping was great, rooms were clean, breakfast was great. Every employee that I had contact with was friendly and professional. I was even given a sympathy card when I checked in. This was way above and beyond what I expected. I will stay there if I ever find myself in New Albany again and I will recommend it to others.

We came to stay in New Albany because it was the closest pet friendly IHG hotel to Oxford, where my husband was playing in a golf tournament. I arrived earlier than expected on Saturday and our originally assigned room wasn't ready for check in. Michelle, who was working the front desk, took the time to meet our needs. I knew that our dogs needed to get out of the car, stretch their legs and get some exercise (play time), but as we checked into the hotel, it began pouring down rain. Michelle, knowing that we really needed to get into a room ASAP, upgraded our family from our original king room, to a King Suite (which we couldn't book on the IHG website) free of charge. I originally offered to pay the difference, but she wanted to make sure we were set and didn't want to inconvenience us in any way. It truly made the difference in our stay. Our room was more than accommodating for the space that we needed and the pups enjoyed being able to run from room to room. Thank you for taking what could have been a not so great experience and making an impression on us! Great job, Michelle!!

The staff that greeted my wife and I, Michelle and the manager Denise were the most friendly and efficient staff that I have met. They made me feel at home with such a friendly environment. I will use this facility again and hope they will be there.

We relocated and this was our first stop if you are in this area and need a room this is the best place to go the breakfast was one of the best I have experience in any hotel.This was some of the most happy employees I have had the pleasure to encounter. What a great place safe enviroment great bed and quite clean
