Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet and great breakfast Room was excellent. Breakfast was the best we have had in our travels. Only drawback was that we were charged $50.00 on top of our bill (we were aware of that before when we booked) for our Miniature Schnauzer. Other hotels (even Holiday Inn Expresses) state that the charge is anywhere from $10.00 to $25.00 and most reduce the fee or completely drop it. April 16, 2013

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast and the variety of foods available. We just thought that you should know that the Management and Staff of the New Buffalo Holiday Inn Express are doing an excellent job and should be commended. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by excellent hot tub/pool/fitness center This New Buffalo, MI Holiday Inn Express is the best Holiday Inn express that our family has EVER stayed in. We visit this hotel three to four times a year and we love it. For the adults it is located between two casinos and for the kids, it has a great pool area! Every time we come, the staff is so knowledgable and very friendly. They have always recommended excellent dining and great fun in the area. This is really become our home away from home and the best part is......we dont have to do any chores....the staff does it all. Thank you, New Buffalo, MI February 22, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy access and dog friendly On the last night of a 3500 mile driving trip, filled with lots of weather-related closures and delays and holiday travel stress in general, it was so nice to pull into a place that was easily accessible from the Interstate at an uncrowded interchange, was clean and comfortable and efficient, AND (most important) dog-friendly. Even though I'm ready and willing to pay extra fees for my dog (including large deposits, if requested), It is often difficult to find nice lodging facilities that allow pets, so I really appreciated this Holiday Inn Express as a great way to end my long trip. Melody at the front desk is extremely helpful, pleasant, and has a great memory of repeat guests. The hotel is close to the Four Winds Casino and numerous local eating establishments, including fine dining and fast food. The New Buffalo hotel is minutes away from the excitement and beauty of Lake Michigan. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the New Buffalo area on personal or business purposes. No complaints, would stay here again if in the area. Would have been nice if it was closer to "downtown" New Buffalo, the view wasn't anything spectacular (a gas station and a McDonald's), but it was definitely more affordable than something by the beach! Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Poor service and bad air conditioning The staff was wonderful, with the exception of the woman bringing out the breakfast items. My sister went down at 9:40 to get some breakfast and saw there were no eggs. When she asked the woman if there would be more eggs, the woman said "No!". Also, our coffee carafe was broken and glass was in the carafe. Good thing we looking in it before making our coffee. In our first night's stay, the air conditioner wasn't working and when we called the front desk, nothing was offered in the way of a fix. I would not recommend your hotel if asked. This one in New Buffalo was up to those standards. I would stay here again. The breakfast was good and the staff let it stay open a bit longer for the stragglers on a rainy Sunday morning .
