Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Review The HBO did not work in my first room so I was moved, the room I was moved to and it still did not work on one TV and worked poorly on the other. The exercise room was out of water and no sanitary wipes. The rug for the tub had stains all over it. The second room I was moved to was in very poor shape. At breakfast (7:15am) they were out of coffee except de-caf and it was dead cold. This is the second HIE property in Fort Wayne that I will not make a return visit. February 12, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exceptional front desk personnel We typically stay at HIE when we travel and the hotels are all pretty much the same as far as overall experience. But, I must say that our trip to Fort Wayne was definitely different when it came to the hotel personnel. They were what I would call over-the-top in efficiency and took the extra time to take care of everything we asked. They were just really nice people that had real conversations with us. One clerk talked to my father (81 yr. old from Glasgow Scotland) about all of her travels and they had such a good time. She was also the ONLY HIE employee to EVER ask me if I wanted to sign up for the "Rewards Club." Which I did. We stay at HIE because our stay is always good, but at this particular hotel, it was GREAT. We will most definitely stay there again. February 3, 2015
