Slept good in a clean environment but had problems with TV and water drainage.

From the check-in through the check-out we were treated outstanding. The suite was comfortable and had all accessories needed during our visit. Very comfortable bed which allowed for a good night's sleep.

Overall, about what I expected. Not great but average. No breakfast. First room we were put in had a broken TV so we had to move. Wasn't recognized as a platinum IHG member until the 2nd day when I inquired if I was still a platinum member. Had dogs and was put on the third floor so when they had to go we had to take the elevator or walk down 3 flights of stairs. Room was comfortable and staff was friendly. I used rewards points for this stay.

Staff generally helpful, let down by 1 member. No non smoking room available, staff were great to ensure 1 came available asap. Internet was hopeless, couldn't conduct my business in my room, had to go elsewhere

The hotel was just as good as all the Candlewood Suites I have stayed at. Rooms are clean, staff is pleasant and helpful. Rooms are comfortable. Easily accessable to main highways and interstates.

Hotel appearance was disappointing, very loud pool area. Hotel entrance did not have a way to unload luggage.

Wonderful hotel and the staff is what makes it the best! Vacationed to visit my in-laws and my 4 year old turned 5 while we were there. He was telling everyone that would listen that it was his birthday. The manager took it upon herself to make sure he had some balloons and a bag of treats waiting on him when we came in that night. Not only that but she had a bag made for his little brother so he wouldn't feel left out as well. This manager also cooks a "home cooked" meal once a week for all of the guests just to make it feel like home. This is a wonderful staff!

The room was very comfortable. The only problem we had was the a/c in the living area was not very cold, had to keep bedroom door open to keep entire suite cold. Other than that I would stay there again.

Awful experience !! Air conditioner went out 1st night we wher there
Toilet seat lid came off 1st time we raised it!! Room was dirty!! Dirt and smudges on walls!! Dirt in corners!! My daughter was recovering from a surgery so it wasn't very easy to relocate!! At ck out clerk said she would talk to manager and see if they could comp us in any way!! It's been 1 wk now no phone call !!

consistently clean and comfortable. During 2 ice storms in January hotel managers and staff were terrific, made sure guests were taken care of. Roads and bridges in area were closed due to ice, but hotel was fully staffed. no problems during these state emergencies.

I never stayed in a Candlewood hotel before and I can say that it was a very good experience. From the moment I ckecked in until I checked out. Personnel is extremely friendly and attentive to the guest needs. The room had a lot of space and having refrigerator and kitchenette was very convenient.
Internet conection was excellent.

The room and hotel are good, but the lock mechanism on room door was malfunctioning and 3rd time it took 45 minutes for the desk person to get the door open. the lock mechanism was fixed correctly the following morning. Room across the hall was having the same problem.

I actually had a blast. I stayed in the hotel for almost 4 months. I enjoyed the flexibility, the privacy, and the comfort of the hotel. Miss Pam was amazing and ALWAYS helpful and accamadating.
I would stay there again.

Hotel is very clean. Rooms are comfortable. Stay here every time I'm in New iberia. Will stay at one in San Antonio next month. Hope its just as good.

I was charged fo (2) rooms. only stayed (1) night in (1) room.It was corrected with in a week or so! but seemed to be hard for the staff to figure out.
The 3rd shift front desk did all she could to fix th issue. Not her fault.

Nice room with full kitchen, BBQ grill outside. free dinner once a week. Free washer and dryers, only down side was about half of them were broken.

There was water leaking in the bathroom ceiling. It smelled like mildew. The toilet broke and we were told that there was no maintenance on call so we had to go a whole night without a working toilet. They didn't offer us another room or any consolation. The wi-fi didn't work in our room. When I went to the front desk, was told I could get tech support on the phone and handle it myself. It wasn't a problem I could fix from my room. The signal was not strong enough.
Staff was not helpful and room was not clean.
I would not recommend this hotel and I'm very disappointed.

Everything was ok till we got to our room on the third floor, had a two month old and a four year old, needed a lower floor, BUT. Several services promised were NEVER delivered including Wi-Fi. After several requests were made we were just told "sorry, it does not reach the third floor." Tried talking to 'tech support' but that was useless. Also, cell phone would not work in hotel, had to go outside to call someone.

Stayed in room 104, upcoming opening the door , there was a bad smell like mildew. Having been told that I had last room, I was going to endure this. Going to the front desk I was given window cleaner to spray in my room, then Lysol, which helped somewhat. Me and my wife tolerated this throughout the night. The next morning I got the housekeeping crew to come in to smell, some said that they would not have stayed in that room. When checking out I tried to discuss this with the front desk clerk , she cut me off twice by telling me the owner was there and he knew about this, tried giving her my phone number being cut off again, she was the only one rude about this and would not listen!

I stayed there with my Kids. Had some problem going on at my house. The staff made me and my kids feel right at home. Since I was between job they cupboard was very helpfull with the kids getting off from school. They also had a stove where I could cook a hot meal for the kids. They help me save a lot of money in my time of need. Didn't have to go out and get fast food every day. And that Wed meal they cook was a big break to me.

Pam and her staff very attentive to guests needs and requests., Clean hotel, great location for sightseeing in Lafayette, Breaux Bridge and Morgan City, and area. If you like Cajun food go to Abeville, you will not be dissapointed. Local tourist office just across the street offers good info on area sights as well. All in all a very good location for area tourism - ENJOY!!!

Perfect for our needs of having accessible acommodations, quiet.
and flexibility while visiting family in the area. The cupboard and popcorn, coffee, and refrigerator in the room made it very comfortable and convenient. The small range wasn't needed but
was clean and the cupboards were well stocked with everything we needed.
Our only problems were "sensitive" plumbing and the television channels were minimal and picture quality was poor.

The New Iberia Room was excellent. Motel location was even better, out of the way enough so there was not too much noise, close enough to the action to get where we wanted easy.
We left there and went Lafayette, the girl at the desk did not know if there was a room or not. We asked when could we know if there was a room she did not know.. So we had to go to another. We will stay at them when we can.. good work.. Garald
