East New Orleans isn't known for being the best part of town, but this hotel made up for it. Comfortable, quiet, good breakfast, great staff. Would have liked to have a cleaner pool to cool off in after a run in the heat. If it is off-season, this hotel should consider just covering the pool instead of letting it collect bugs and grime.

I am a business traveler/platinum member of IHG. Upon arrival, the staff was very unfriendly. While waiting a lengthy amount of time for another customer to check-in in front of me, I was looking around in the common area noticing trash on the floor and poor vacuuming. I was placed in a handicap room. The closet was lower, limiting me from hanging my suits to avoid wrinkling. I called the front desk to request another room, and was told they were all booked. Thus, I got settled in. The refrigerator worked for the first hour of my 2 day stay, and the AC unit was set on constant fan, yet would turn off for what seemed like forever. When climbing into bed that evening, I noticed the extra plastic placed on the mattress. It was extremely uncomfortable. Upon check out, I voiced my dissatisfaction, only to be met with a "I will let my manager know, and have her call you". No apology for my discomfort, or effort to adjust my bill or reward me in any way. I did not receive a call from anyone at the location, so I called in again to request a call from the manager. No manager or anyone from this location has reached out yet. POOR SERVICE, HIGHLY PRICED FOR QUALITY, ROOMS HAVE ISSUES, AND DON'T THINK THEY CARE ENOUGH TO ADDRESS YOUR CONCERNS OR CALL YOU BACK! IF THEY TREAT THEIR PLATINUM MEMBERS LIKE THIS, I CAN ONLY IMAGINE HOW THEY TREAT EVERYONE ELSE!
