Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic Service An addendum to a previous review: I always experience a certain level of service and comfort when I stay at a Holiday Inn Express, but I was thrilled with my experience here. After departing the hotel, I received notification that I had accidentally left my Kindle in the room, which a cleaning staff member had found and returned to the front desk. The front desk manager (Amber?) called me and offered to ship it back to my office. I greatly appreciate the honesty, promptness of service, and the box was waiting for me back at my home office when I returned! Not only was my Kindle returned to me, but it was expertly wrapped and padded to avoid shipping damage. I may be a small gesture, but I am overwhelmingly pleased with this experience (on top of the normal satisfaction that I have whenever I stay at a HIE or IHG hotel). Thanks again! November 17, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Clean rooms The staff let us in half an hour early to accommodate our needs. I was impressed that the rooms were very clean, and quiet. I am not a fan of the burgundy and black décor, it makes the room seem dark. (which doesn't matter when you are sleeping) November 14, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bad service Booked a king bed room. Gave us a two double bed room. Had our paper copy of the reservation which showed king bed. For some reason, the app on my cellphone showed double bed. When I questioned staff about what their computer indicated, they said one king bed. I asked why then did they put us in the double bed room, there was no response. I asked that the room to be paid for on my new IHG Club Rewards card. They swiped my card but it was still charged to the card I used for the deposit. The room was fine but I won't stay there again. November 3, 2014
