Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Will Not Stay Here Again My daughter and I had a quick 2 night/ 1 & 1/2 day stay in NYC. We chose this hotel for its location close to Penn Station and a few blocks from an event we were attending. The hotel itself is fine and fairly modern. However, it is on a street that is fairly dark and lonely after dark. There was no door man and no one to hail a cab for us, so when we had to catch a cab to the airport at 5 am, we had to walk to the corner by ourselves. Some shady characters were approaching just as an available cab pulled up, thankfully. Also, the A/C unit in the room smelled like mildew. I did not report it, since we were hardly in the room. The room was very small, even for NYC - could not open the door all the way because it bumped the furniture. I've stayed in probably 1/2 dozen hotels in NYC, and this is my least favorite so far. Will not stay here again. April 18, 2015

The location is near to attractions and transport facilities. The staff was very helpful. We will be back again. April 18, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Outstanding service Having stayed at many other NYC hotels, the small room dimensions were not unexpected (and there's not much closet space but there is a chest with a few medium sized drawers#. But, on the plus side, the room was clean & quiet and the bed was quite comfortable. The service was great! Everyone was extremely courteous and responsive! During our 3 night stay, we had 2 minor issues #one with the TV and one with the AC) but the repair crew arrived at our room within 5 minutes after calling the front desk and the problems were resolved immediately! Amazing service for ANY hotel in ANY location! Greatly enjoyed having coffee available in the front lobby 24/7! And, although the breakfast selections were fine and there was plenty of food, the room was very crowded and a bit chaotic each morning. Best thing to do is to take food up to your room. Would definitely stay here again! :) April 16, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent staff We were treated very well! Unfortunately one person staying with us forgot their phone in the room. We quickly called as we were about to board a flight and within minutes they had gone up to the room and found the phone and made arrangements to FEDex the phone. The breakfast is probably the best quality and variety I've ever had (and I've travelled around the U.S. to many hotels). The room was a fair size although the sound insulation wasn't the best. We unfortunately had loud neighbors with kids screaming although luckily it was just during the day. I'd come back to the hotel in a heartbeat. April 15, 2015
