Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great accomodation Recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express, Newcastle This is ecxellent accomodation, close to the Coach station, Railway station and city centre. The staff are very friendly, room spacious and clean. Great breakfast in the morning and we did not need to vacate our room until 12 noon. Will be back. December 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable room. Very helpful staff. The room we were given was very clean and comfortable and we were very happy with it. However, the high point of our visit was the helpfulness of the staff at the hotel. We were having a problem with our rental car and they were more than happy to help us find someone to repair it and to give us directions on how to get to them. They went above and beyond what would be required for basic assistance, and checked with us every time we went by the front desk to make sure we were OK and that everything was getting sorted out. I can't praise their help highly enough or how much of a difference they made to a very stressful situation. December 15, 2014

The staff are always friendly and professional. The breakfast options are limited, but exactly as described when you book, so not a let-down in this regard. December 13, 2014

The room at the front was noisy (as you would expect from a city centre hotel on main road) but they were happy to offer us another and nothing seemed to much trouble for them.
