Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by great front of house staff great front of house staff, but the room cleanliness was far from satisfactory! I was with a group of people who work for a cooperate company, and due to our meetings running late it was a quick check in then meet up for dinner ,later that night to my horror I found my bed had been left wet from the previous occupant. not to say I was more than disappointed , the only good thing was how efficient the front of house staff acted on the reception assisting me to move rooms, I would of liked to of left an more positive response February 7, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A great place to stay We only stayed one night to have an evening with friends. The hotel is well placed for access into town, and easy to find - if you don't venture into the one way/bus lane system of central Newcastle ! The council multi-storey carpark is secure, right next door and free for parking from 17:00 to 08:00. The hotel has recently undergone a refurbishment and everything is clean, bright and welcoming. The bathroom unfortunately let the rest of the Hotel down with cracked sink and tiles which were clearly not included in the refurb- that said, the room was very clean. What was exceptional was the welcoming, warm and helpful staff. Drinks are, as always, expensive but a least served with a smile. We didn't eat anything here other than the inclusive breakfast, which is standard HIE though the pastries were much fresher than other hotels I have stayed in. We would stay here again - good value, clean, spacious and convenient location February 2, 2016
