I would highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in this area. The hotel staff was very friendly and also decided to change my room at check in because their were children staying in the room above me and just wanted me to be comfortable in a quiet room. The rooms are very clean and the Breakfast area was well prepared and also very clean. I will see you again in the near future.

I stay at this hotel often throughout the year and everyone is always pleasant and the hotel is very good. I do have 2 complaints:
1. There were lady bugs and stink bugs in the room (probably about 50 or so). They came up and cleaned them out, but they didn't get them all. They said the room had been sprayed. I would talk to your exterminator.
2. This is not a complaint about the hotel, but all HIE properties. You need to provide new laundry bags. Not necessarily higher quality, but they need to be wider so that you can actually fit your dirty clothes in the bag.

Nice place in small town. Good place to relax. Not much around but a casino and Homer Laughlin China. (Fiestaware) Staff was very friendly. Clean rooms. Good internet service. Great place if you are passing through.

I arrived late to Newell in August, on a trip from Canton Ohio, to see Jerome Bettis inducted into the Hall of Fame. The woman at the front desk was one of the nicest and warmest I can recall from my staying in many hotels. Her slight southern drawl was as charming as was the hotel. It is nestled on the side of a hill (mountain?) and provides a great respite. The rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. Walls were plenty thick and I was therefore able to get a great night's sleep. The only slight drawback I found was the lack of great breakfast options and/or the price was only a tick higher than I expected. But after the overall great experience, well worth every penny.
