The dining room attendant turned off the lights when there were still guests (we were some of them). It seemed really rude. I can understand closing the doors at the time the breakfast was supposed to end, but the turning out the lights was a little overboard.

Holiday Inn Express is usually my second choice of a place to stay. Primarily, due to most of the ones I consider are usually pet friendly. However, after seeing this location is pet free and has the two room suites, I decided to give it a try. The room as well as the entire building was very clean. It sits away from the highway so it's very quiet. There was a wifi issue as we as well as other guests were having connection issues. It appeared the staff on duty did not know how to remedy the problem. The breakfast was very good, but the eating area is very small. I could see if there were a lot of guest, a place to sit and eat would be a problem. Overall, I was very pleased and will stay again if in the area.

Our stay at this hotel was status quo for the Holiday Inn Express Chain. The hotel common areas were nicely updated but the the room furniture was cheap and falling apart.
