Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 One of the worst rooms ever I recently stayed in this hotel and I was VERY surprised and disappointed with the quality of a number of things. I travel for business monthly and I can honesty say the mattresses were the least supportive ones I have had in a very long time. When I sat down I would hit the box springs. When you walked into the room the light switch only turned on the entry light. The room was dark and you had to walk all the way across a dark room to reach a night stand or desk lamp. The shower curtain was very short and you could barely take a shower with it not wanting to go to the outside of the tub thus leaking water on the floor. The TV remote did not turn on the TV. You had to manually turn on the TV on the side of the TV. The chair in the room was a joke. The bottom cushion was very hard and the back cushion had no support. Perhaps if one of these items was present I would not think so poorly of my experience (except for the mattress) but all of these issues were present. It was a laughable. Trevor the night clerk was very nice and I think tried to do what he could and even changed our room, but there was little improvement. January 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean and Fun! This is the second time we have stayed here in 2013. Both times the room was extremely clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub are well maintained and kept at a good temperature. The free breakfast has a lot of selection and adds to the value of staying there, especially with children. This is our go to place to stay when we visit Newport! January 2, 2014
