This has to be one of the cleanest and nicest HIE I have stayed at over the years. It still had the new construction smell. I was a little disappointed with the bed. They should have replaced them after the remodel. Also, my room did not have a fridge or microwave. Perhaps they just did not get around to putting them back in the rooms? Overall great place, just pay attention to the details and it would have been perfect.

My family and I stayed here mothers day weekend and it was fabulous. everyone was so friendly. I loved the hot breakfast in the mornings. I really liked that we were so close to the Aquarium. An amazing weekend.

We have stayed in this hotel for years. This time we went to the aquarium and the ladies at the front desk helped us to get a discount! and buy our tickets! Later that night we were looking for a pizza parlor, a guy at the front desk told us a great one and they delivered! We just love stayting there.

We have become sold on staying at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel's. I usually compare, compare and compare. The amenities of (small deodorant to water and a snack) upon arrival is a nice welcome feature. The full breakfast is the best all around. Each hotel has some more, some less. The reason for not giving a 5 star rating, is that the elevators ran extremely slow. It was faster and easier to take the stairs. The range of breakfast items at this hotel did not have the variety at the other Holiday Inn Express I stayed at in California. Overall, continue the good work Holiday Inn Express. We will be back.

Our family enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was welcoming and our room was comfortable. Our son especially loved the heated pool and breakfast:)

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express was comfortable. It is a kid friendly environment with a nice pool and hot tub, full breakfast, and good exercise room. We were there to spend the day at the research station, which was within walking distance. We would happily stay here next time we are in NewPort.

Cool area, near the Rogue Brewery, the shops next door with a pirate theme, great antique and collectors things, near the aquarium, close to the bridge, staff very friendly.
