Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Relaxing Getaway Holiday Inn Express Newport provided us a quiet and restful get-a-way. The in room Jacuzzi was really relaxing and well placed in the large room with a super comfy bed! The staff was attentive to our needs. One staff member helped us get water after dining room hours AND she was on her break! We thanked her for going the extra mile! We were able to walk out the front doors and explore the south bay area...walking up and down the dock and looking at all the boats. We also walked up the south jetty while having a spectacular view of the bay and the ocean. May 14, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Meets the Need Stayed here for 3 nights during business trip/training. Was conveniently located. Free breakfast is convenient and with enough selections. Bed was comfortable and had lots of pillows to choose between firm or soft. Bathroom was clean and rain shower worked well. Only issue I had was that the maids kept taking away the soap every day, which I thought was unnecessary. I would/could have used the same bar of soap for entire stay. All in all, had a good stay. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good accommodations, however, wireless internet service is poor! Wireless internet service in my room was poor (frequent drop outs and low speed). The facility itself is good and staff reasonably friendly. The resolution offered by the front desk was to call IT support and ask that the wireless be "tuned" to provide better service to my room.
