Everyone, from the front desk staff to the ladies taking care of the continental breakfast, were more than helpful and very friendly.. The continental breakfast was the best we have encountered at any of the Holiday Inn Express properties we have stayed at (as of this writing that number is 18).. Thank you for a wonderful stay.. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent property - takes care of their guests I stay here, and a few others in the area for business a few times a month, and Holiday Inn Express Newton is a great place to stay. The staff are all extremely helpful and accommodating. The facility is beautiful, as it is relatively new. Rooms are always very clean and tidy. Everything about staying here is exactly what one would expect from a top-notch hotel. However, I do have a few suggestions. Not deal breakers, by any means - just small things that I notice since I use this location on a semi-regular basis: 1. The workout room is not sufficient. One elliptical, one treadmill and a bike. That's it. Really? Come on. It would be nice not to have to use the gym across town every time I stay. 2. No microwave in the room. As a consultant, I like to save money, and one way is to prepare meals from ingredients at the local grocery store. Being able to heat up a few chicken strips for my salad would be great. ;) 3. The television service is lacking. Not sure who sold you this Smart System, but the channel selection is poor, the remote control response time is slower than molasses, and channel 27 is not what it is advertised to be. I wish it was. Otherwise, it’s a great hotel and I will continue to use them. Except on days when I work out, or want to catch something particular on TV, or if I need a microwave to make a quick meal. The fitness equipment has yet to be broken. There is always plenty to eat at breakfast and they keep it fresh. The staff is very nice and friendly. Granted, I stay here often, it is still nice to be recognized not just as a Priority Club member, but also to be simply recognized with a "Welcome back." as soon as you walk through the door. The kids had a great time in their own room with their bunk beds, something that we have never found at a hotel before! The pool area was very well kept, the staff was very friendly. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Rooms and amazing service I have been staying at the Newton Hoilday Inn since the opening and I believe I have stayed there up to 5 different times at two to three week intervels, the service I receive from this hotel is amazing starting from the management which works with me on the price and also the room they provide me upon checkin, the front desk personal are also amazing and always welcomes me by my first name as soon as I enter the front doors which is nice as I travel 330 days a year and to remember me and check me in within a minute is great. Night shift as well is amazing as they know that I work nights as well as others leaving early in the morning and have all breakfast ready by 5am, these guy's that work nights are very personal and great people to talk to upon getting back. The cleaning service is great as I work nights and being a light sleeper I usually hear the slightest little sound but in Newton HI I dont hear a peep as the respect the sign on the door. I confirmed with my fellow workers that this is the place to stay when working in the area. I would highly recommend this Hotel to anybody at anytime. November 7, 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by fine for overnight stays Been there twice for overnight stays prior to business meetings at nearby Hesston. Clean room, and free breakfast (eggs, sausages, hash browns, etc.) that tasted good. Staff is pleasant and helpful. About 35-40 minutes from Wichita airport and about 10 minutes from Hesston. It is at a good location in Newton, KS close to I-135 and yet very little noise. We will definately stay there the next time we are in the area. October 24, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A "Mooooving" Experience Couldn't resist the title, given the art work in my room-tried to upload a photo but pixel size wasn't good. Stayed here recently while speaking at a program in Newton. Room was very clean, comfortable bed. Internet worked great. Front desk staff were very helpful. Gave me an excellent recommendation for a great little restaurant, Fox Ridge, where I enjoyed the world's best steak. Only thing that made it really difficult to relax after returning to the hotel was looking up at the wall over the desk and having to see that darn glaring cow staring at me all night. Took all the enjoyment out of eating the steak for me, smiling here! Really think the angry cow head painting would be best off in a conference or board room with something peaceful and pastoral (e.g., sunflowers in a field) on the wall. It honestly was a creepy thing to look at after eating a steak! October 15, 2012
