Large rooms, spacious and comfortable. Found the notice on hotel front door about prosecuting non hotel guests from using restrooms rather unnecessary and unusual. August 11, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff The room was much smaller than a Holiday Inn Express we have used in the past. The staff were very friendly. Bobby in the breakfast room was especially accommodating. He was extremely organized, efficient and charismatic. He was constantly moving and making sure all of the guests were taken care of. The hotel was in the middle of a dumpy area. It will be good when the surrounding area is levelled and developed. I thought the room was quite expensive for the size and area. August 7, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Excellent visit This was our second visit with the Holiday Inn Express in Niagara Falls and we will definitely be back again. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Having a breakfast at the hotel was very convenient for us also. We didn't have to leave and find someplace to dine. We could eat breakfast and return to our room and rest before starting out for the day. August 6, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed Room 113 should not even be a room. Sandwiched between the pool and the laundry room is totally ridiculous. The overwhelming chlorine fumes forced me to sit outside in the middle of the night, in a storm to be able to breath. The laundry room was being used at 1AM and I constantly heard the dryer banging the wall. Laundry services should not be allowed to be used after a certain hour. Our TV froze and no one knew how to fix it. I left clothing hanging in a closet in a zippered bag, and the staff chose to rip the bag open instead of unzipping it, they also didn't call me till 6PM to make me aware of this. As luck would have it I was in Buffalo so I was able to retrieve my clothing. Upon retrieval I found my velvet hangers replaced by hotel hangers. Never before have I been disappointed with Holiday Inn Express sadly this stay was a complete disaster. August 4, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great service but noisy room The staff at this HIE were efficient and helpful. However, the room was noisy. My neighbours were not overly loud but their conversations could be heard through the walls. Footsteps in the room above were loud and clear in my room. During the night I was woken by loud conversation and laughing. It is unfortunate that the hotel was not constructed with proper sound insulation between the walls. August 1, 2014

While the immediate surroundings are fairly run down the area has alot to offer in terms of restaurants (check out Leon's) and proximity to the Falls. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by clean and comfortable The room was clean and inviting upon arrival. Bed was comfortable. We would have like some of the cookies they offer at check in, but they were out and did not refill the entire evening. I know Holiday Inn usually offers a military discount. The front desk said that she was unable to help us with that because we booked online. While she was very nice, I would have liked her to be able to help us with that. Breakfast area very full with no empty chairs to sit in. I know this is not uncommon for this type of hotel breakfast room. It was good sized, bright, open and clean. Overall, nice hotel would stay again if I was in the area. It felt like it was on the newer side. All employees were very friendly and we had a pleasant stay. July 26, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice place to stay Nice location, only had a couple of issues that I never experienced elsewhere. The sofa bed was not made up and when we opened it, we noticed the sheet on the bed was not clean with flecks of something all over it. We went to the front desk for clean linens and pillows and got apologies and an offer to make up the bed for us. There was also a used bar of soap, I think deliberately left in the upper corner of the shower that housekeeping did not notice or clean. We brought this to the attention of the front desk twice. It is probably still there, because it stayed there for both days we were there. July 24, 2014

We enjoyed our time at Niagara Falls but were very glad we stayed at this hotel further from the downtown area. Breakfast had plenty of variety - loved the pancake maker - and the staff were very attentive keeping food supplied despite the busy mornings. Front desk staff were friendly and tried to accommodate requests. July 22, 2014

We really needed a place to rest and relax, and we definitely got to do that in the suite we had. The breakfast was very good, too, with a lot of choices, including fresh fruit and other healthy options. I was a little concerned about the proximity to the airport and noise, but it was not an issue at all. July 11, 2014

The price is a bit high but in line with similar hotels. The breakfast during my stay (a Saturday morning) was decent but would prefer a slightly broader range of healthy hot offerings beyond the scrambled eggs and sausage gig - how about a breakfast burrito bar? The room was clean and comfortable although the A/C unit was loud ... like most (but not all) hotel A/C units. July 8, 2014

The night before I was at an exceptional hotel in Buffalo. When I made this Holiday Inn Express reservation, I thought I was going to be down near the casino and was less than happy when I realized your location, knowing that there had been problems with break-ins at other hotels or motels in the area in the past. However, when I drove up and saw your hotel, I was more than pleasantly surprised. It is beautiful and certainly better quality than anything else in that area. I am originally from Niagara Falls and do travel back there at least once a year. I will be staying in your Holiday Inn Express when I return. Definitely. July 6, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Decent value, convenient location I especially like that the hotel is NOT downtown, but is close to the NF airport. As a result, it is quieter & safer. The staff is responsive to requests/needs & tries to be helpful. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean. The breakfast, while included in the price, leaves much to be desired. The "orange juice" tastes rather watered-down, the bananas are usually quite bruised & unappetizing, & the only non-sugar sweetener available is Sweet 'n Low. The coffee is hit-or-miss. Usually miss; I often found myself going elsewhere & paying for a breakfast. I'd rate the hotel a little higher if the food was better. July 1, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great stay! We were in for 2 nights, great location, not a noisy area as our room faced out the back. We did not use the breakfast area as we had a small dog and did not want to leave her alone in the room. The only issue we had was there was a bar of used soap left on the shelf in the shower from the previous guest. I did find the $50.00 a night charge rather high for the dog considering our previous travels to the south can be anywhere from free to $30.00 a night. If we travel to this area we would stay here again. July 1, 2014

It was not what I expected , especially for a price that was more like a high end or 2 bedroom suite and the distance it was from the Falls... just bland from the decor to the service to the food. I brought my son, spouse, and parents so we had 2 rooms. My parents had the jacuzzi room and upon opening the door smoke smells overwhelmed us despite it being a non-smoking room. They went in and I went to see about changing rooms for them. The phone did not work when I tried to call the room from the desk 5 times. So I had to walk back there and knock on the door to tell my mom of the other room options available. This place did not even have a snack machine.We have platinum elite status and no recognition was given. We weren't offered a welcome bag or bonus points. and I even had to call back and request my points. We did not have a problem with the desk staff or manager on duty, but neither of those young ladies went out of their way to make us feel welcomed or like they appreciated our business even. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed and the staff was very good. Everything about this place was very good. The one thing that was a little frustrating was connecting to the wireless internet. They had this god awful log in and pass word and you had to re-enter it every day. And our computers would not re-direct to the log in page. Called the 800 number and got no help. Ending up fixing it myself. Otherwise great place, a couple of miles away from the falls but that made it more comfortable. June 28, 2014

The staff was friendly, answering questions/requests with ease and quick response. Good at referring restaurants. If you go here - MUST eat at Leon's Italian Bistro. Great food.
