Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bed and Great Service The bed was actually comfortable and smelled of "Frebreeze", but most of the pillows had a very, very strong smell of something like "Febreeze". I had to change pillows 3 to 4 times to find one not so strong w/any smell. The maid service and front desk assistance and professionalism was outstanding. The hotel itself was in a great location for restaurant/conveniences store (especially since we had an a very rare Ice Storm). I did have a little problem w/the vending machines being right next to my room. I woke a few times due to the ice machine noises, but other than that I enjoyed staying at this hotel. February 3, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by I think I picked the wrong weekend to be in Niceville My check in process was very easy. No problem. When I attempted to turn on my TV later in the day, it would not come on. I tried the remote and the side of the TV. No luck. I called the front desk and immediately they sent someone up who checked the TV and all the plugs but was unable to get it to work. He went down and spoke with the front desk and they called me immediately. They offered me another room which I accepted. I was in town for a conference so I was on a time crunch at that very moment but they switched me over immediately. I just had to move all my stuff. luckily I had packed light for this trip. I had to relocate to the first floor...No to happy about moving on to another floor but at least they addressed the problem. When I entered the room it was a handicapped room. Not very comfortable for me but the spaces were larger and it was a clean room. There were school buses that checked in after me so there were kids up and down the hallways. I turned on the heat and it took a minute to warm up but it did ok. Through out the night, an order like strong bug spray kept emitting from the heater when it cycled on and off. So I didn't rest most of the night and I was just to tired to move again. Lucky for me my conference was cut short and since I only lived an hour away, I checked out and went home. Next time ask if a handicapped room is ok even if it is all you have left or since the TV worked in that room and it was empty switch it out instead of the person in the room. January 7, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Hotel in Niceville I have stayed in this hotel with my mom on family business, in August, September, October, and December 2013. We stayed in a total of 6 different rooms and enjoyed all of them. I was so impressed in august , That I will not stay anywhere else when in niceville. The area was extremely convenient for us and close to so many attractions. All staff was very friendly, helpful, and made us feel so comfortable ,important and welcomed. The rooms were clean, comfortable beds, well equipped room w/ small appliances, fresh baked cookies daily w/ lemonade on hot days, or cookies and hot chocolate on cool days. Coffee and tea is always available, breakfast has a variety of choices and fresh fruit daily. Very clean dining room, friendly staff with smiling faces and a touch of home-style atmosphere. Our stay's at this hotel just gets better and better, I have spread the word and continue to share that this hotel has been the most pleasurable place, that I have ever stayed at............. Your hotel provided a comfortable place to relax after a hard day of playing with the grandchildren! My husband could retreat to the hotel to catch a football game since it was so close and easy to get to. We had a wonderful week in a clean hotel with friendly people. January 2, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exceptional and Extremely Professional Staff My best description of the Holiday Inn-Niceville-Eglin AFB Holiday Inn stay was "Outstanding!" From the first day that my team checked in to two weeks later when we departed, this hotel staff from the front desk to housing staff was exceptional. We were always greeted with a warm and friendly smile from one of the most helpful staff I have every experienced and I've stayed in countless number of hotels in the US and throughout Europe. All I can continue to say is we received "Outstanding" support!!! December 22, 2013
