Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome staff - older hotel The hotel is an older hotel. The staff is incredible. They were very friendly and attentive to our needs. For the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff alone, I would definitely stay there again. I stayed there two weeks on business. The guest laundry area is one of the nicer areas I've seen. It's attached to the fitness center, but there is a table with chairs, clean counter and sink, fresh fruit and internet access so you can work comfortably while waiting for your laundry to finish. Breakfast was hot and good. They have a pancake maker. The ac in my room cooled well, but sometimes the room was a little humid - not enough to complain about though. I have a memory foam mattress at home so I never sleep as well on a hotel mattress as I do at home. My rating on quality of sleep is based on that alone. July 19, 2014

I am satisfied with accommodation, but I pointed my great satisfaction with hotel staff. The service what they provide is at a high level, all functioning perfectly. Managers, reception, housekeepers are very friendly and at all times ready to do the stay at the hotel enjoyable. I really have only positive experience and very nice memories staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Niceville. I definitely recommend this hotel. June 26, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Visit Every Time I get to visit this property about two to three times a year. The location and access from the airport and Eglin AFB is excellent. There is a Ruby Tuesday's next to the property within walking distance. I was happy about the noise level despite the fact that it was summer and the coming and going of guests. The staff was very helpful and courteous. I hope that I get an opportunity to stay again soon. June 24, 2014

I'm surprised this property is an Express as I've stayed at Holiday Inn's that would be more representative of this property. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service I did not have high expectations for this hotel, but upon checking in I was impressed by the lobby area, and the clerk on duty was exceptionally helpful and nice. I felt the price for the room was much too high, but apparently there was a high demand for hotel rooms on that date. The room was comfortable and quiet, and while the bathroom was not fancy, it was clean and well maintained. June 9, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not Satisfied My husband and I were moved twice to another room do to the bedding, floor, and chairs being wet. I am not sure if this was a housekeeping issue or not. I would like to applaud the staff because everyone was very nice and they did all they could do to make us happy. The overall building I think is outdated. I love holiday inn express but this has to be by far the worst one I have stayed in. June 5, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Travel In the remarks I commented about not being greeted as a rewards customer. This was because I could not find my number so it was booked without it. However after arriving the front desk insisted that I was not a member (since I wanted to add it) claiming I was not in the system. I needed to call Holiday Inn to recieve it. After I provided it to her she stated that she was looking it up with my 1st initial and last name. This took some time which was not really a problem however, she was training a new employee. Otherwise great visit best stay on our 8 day motocycle trip. June 2, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bed and Great Service The bed was actually comfortable and smelled of "Frebreeze", but most of the pillows had a very, very strong smell of something like "Febreeze". I had to change pillows 3 to 4 times to find one not so strong w/any smell. The maid service and front desk assistance and professionalism was outstanding. The hotel itself was in a great location for restaurant/conveniences store (especially since we had an a very rare Ice Storm). I did have a little problem w/the vending machines being right next to my room. I woke a few times due to the ice machine noises, but other than that I enjoyed staying at this hotel. February 3, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by I think I picked the wrong weekend to be in Niceville My check in process was very easy. No problem. When I attempted to turn on my TV later in the day, it would not come on. I tried the remote and the side of the TV. No luck. I called the front desk and immediately they sent someone up who checked the TV and all the plugs but was unable to get it to work. He went down and spoke with the front desk and they called me immediately. They offered me another room which I accepted. I was in town for a conference so I was on a time crunch at that very moment but they switched me over immediately. I just had to move all my stuff. luckily I had packed light for this trip. I had to relocate to the first floor...No to happy about moving on to another floor but at least they addressed the problem. When I entered the room it was a handicapped room. Not very comfortable for me but the spaces were larger and it was a clean room. There were school buses that checked in after me so there were kids up and down the hallways. I turned on the heat and it took a minute to warm up but it did ok. Through out the night, an order like strong bug spray kept emitting from the heater when it cycled on and off. So I didn't rest most of the night and I was just to tired to move again. Lucky for me my conference was cut short and since I only lived an hour away, I checked out and went home. Next time ask if a handicapped room is ok even if it is all you have left or since the TV worked in that room and it was empty switch it out instead of the person in the room. January 7, 2014

We stayed in a total of 6 different rooms and enjoyed all of them. I was so impressed in august , That I will not stay anywhere else when in niceville. The area was extremely convenient for us and close to so many attractions. All staff was very friendly, helpful, and made us feel so comfortable ,important and welcomed. The rooms were clean, comfortable beds, well equipped room w/ small appliances, fresh baked cookies daily w/ lemonade on hot days, or cookies and hot chocolate on cool days. Coffee and tea is always available, breakfast has a variety of choices and fresh fruit daily. Very clean dining room, friendly staff with smiling faces and a touch of home-style atmosphere. Our stay's at this hotel just gets better and better, I have spread the word and continue to share that this hotel has been the most pleasurable place, that I have ever stayed at............. Your hotel provided a comfortable place to relax after a hard day of playing with the grandchildren! From the first day that my team checked in to two weeks later when we departed, this hotel staff from the front desk to housing staff was exceptional. We were always greeted with a warm and friendly smile from one of the most helpful staff I have every experienced and I've stayed in countless number of hotels in the US and throughout Europe.
