Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lauretta Not far from Notre Dame and cheaper than South Bend
It's only a 10 minute trip from South Bend and was worth the trip to get a lower rate. All we needed at a great price: comfortable room, adequate breakfast, good wi-fi.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by surgical patient Thanks to Candace the housekeeper
Candace the young housekeeper went above and beyond to run out to the parking lot in the snow to hand me an item I had dropped while checking out of the hotel. The staff are superb, and the place was so clean. Excellent convenience of the fitness areas. Doreen was kind and helpful at front desk. Will definitely stay here again next month.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JenniferF Nice visit, not so nice weather
We are pleased with the Holiday Inn Express. We will stay there again! My concern though was the parking lot wasn't plowed. And the wet floors upon entrance. The rugs were not big enough.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Glacial_Erratic Good overnight accomodation for family
Our family stayed in one of the "family suites" for one night and it was just what we needed at lower price than two hotel rooms. We had myself and hubby and two adult children.
The family suite has a separate bedroom with a king bed and TV. The bedroom was a good size, but had no windows.
The main room was spacious and had two queen beds, a TV, pull out couch and a small kitchenette - under counter fridge, microwave and sink. The bathroom is accessed via the main room. It had a large countertop.
The suite was clean and comfortable. The decor was a bit sparse, and electric outlets were few and poorly placed. Breakfast was OK, just the typical breakfast items.
It is the best hotel in Niles. If a room was not available at the holiday Inn, I would stay in South Bend or elsewhere.
