Manager did not respond to my request and didn't inform me they were not going to. I had to discover the facts on my own and push the issue through IHG to get the manager to accommodate my needs. I am handicapped and in an electric wheelchair; the Norfolk staff was always offering and willing to help me whenever it was needed. The accessible room we had was large enough for me to maneuver and turn my chair around. Narrow room space is something my husband and I often encounter at other hotels. The bathroom door also opens so that I can get into the bathroom with no issues; this is a problem at other hotels when the door opens the wrong direction. Again this hotel has a wonderful staff from the breakfast ladies , housekeeping, to the front desk ; they are friendly and accommodating. November 8, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A business trip gone good I stayed at this property for approximately two months while on business. I am pleased to say that the staff were all friendly, helpful, and just plain awesome! The rooms and beds were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was tasty, but limited on variety over the long term. The only problem encountered was when I stayed on the fourth floor, just under one of the roof exhaust fans. The fan ran continuously, but occasionally became quite noisy. The hotel, itself, was very clean and the rooms were spacious. Kudos to the great staff!! I look forward to staying there, again (just not on the fourth floor) :) November 6, 2014
