Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Whirlpool heat was broken During our stay, the whirlpool heat was broken. When my husband went to the front desk to inquire about it, the staff said that it was fine. The whirl pool was colder than the swimming pool which was cloudy and murky at best. He asked to be contacted by a manager with in the hour and received no response even though we were there for another 24 hrs. We were never contacted by phone or email either. We stay at Holiday Inns for the Priority Club bonus points and just found out that our 2 night stay didn't qualify. We are done with Priority Club and Holiday Inn. April 17, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Happy Easter! We met family for the Easter holiday. The hotel could not have been cleaner if they tried-I even saw the General Manger Cleaning the front area-it was beautiful. The food was great and the staff could not be kinder-The desk Manager, Bart was so nice to our group and the Manager who was cleaning, Tony, was really really nice too. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Place! Got there a bit early, but we were accommodated. Pool and hot tub both just right. Spoke with a member of housekeeping; she was friendly and had been employed there for several years. The young man at the front desk gave accurate directions. We had to leave quickly and early in the morning; that process was flawless. Good place to stay. March 21, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by okay We stayed this past Friday night - asked when I called if they had whirlpool/pool area. We came in later, just wanted to wind down relax and get a good nights sleep, little did we know the hotel was full up with children, unruly running screaming jumping children. Could not use the pool/spa area - halls were filled with screaming running children. Complained to desk, he did upgrade our room - we had to pack up our stuff and move - after the move it was better. However still had the noise issue. The pool area was a bit better in the morning but no towels in that area had to go take some from workout room. Breakfast, had to go across to panera, there was no hot food out everytime we went in there. Once again, large group of children/parents there for weekend. I assume on a weekend without the children convention going on it is a very nice place. Ask when you book, if hotel is booked with any large children events, pool area is small, too many kids will ruin the stay. March 5, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Not worth the high rate. I was disappointed in this hotel. The room rate was crazy high. 2 bills with tax. The bathroom had primer on the walls and grout missing from tiles. The fridge in he room rattled so loud I had to unplug it to sleep. I expect much more for that high of a rate February 10, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet and cozy We stayed one night for the IHSA cheerleading state cometition. We never heard a peep out side our room, which is very suprising cosidering the hotel was full of cheerleaders! The bed was very comfortable!! The breakfast spread was more than you could ask for. The people at the desk were very helpful and friendly. The only thing I could complain about was I feel the price was far higher than the surrounding hotels. February 9, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not friendly and poor service Being extremely tired I went against my better judgement and tried this Holiday Inn over the one across from the airport. it didn't take long to be disappointed. I could mention many things, some out of the staffs control but 2 major items, #1 and #3 below, which will always send me to the other hotel is: 1. I needed a late checkout as I was late checking in and needed to complete so work items. Being a long time Priority Club member I was informed that I needed to check out at 11am - check out time when I requested 1pm. To drive the point home the staff continually called me and knocked on my door to constantly disrupt me and 'make certain' I got out. 2. I was not welcomed as Priority Club member until I came back and informed the clerk that I was. He then gave me a bottle of water 3. I couldn't print out my airplane ticket becasue the computer was down for the whole time I was there. When I asked about the expected repair time the morning clerk was not aware it was down. I informed the night clerk it was down when I checked in the night before. Several other items combined to make my stay at this Holiday Inn memorable to say the least. I would think that the staff would need a bit more training in customer care. As it is, when I come to Bloomington for business I will pass this hotel by. January 15, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Ok stay The hotel was ok. However the staff and service were bad. The housekeeping did not do a good job cleaning the washroom. I am a tidy person so there was not much to clean in the room but still the housekeeper did not change the small towel I'd used for placement of my shaver and etc or change the cup I used for rinsing. Also, I have told the staff twice that my hotel door did not locked and yet no one took action. They said maintenance will take care of it but when I came back from work and pushed the door ... it opens up. Lucky nothing was stolen. Anyway, I got fed-up and did not mention this again since I was checking out tomorrow and probably won't be coming back to stay at this hotel next week. January 15, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Leisure... Our family chooses to stay at this Holiday Inn Express when we have extended family events in the B/N area. The hotel is newly remodeled very fresh & clean but comforting. Of the three Holiday Inns in the area - this is the best price. In years past we stayed at Comfort Suites, but Priority Club has better benefits. Breakfast is good, a good selection for all in the family. Rooms are always amazingly clean - never any streaks on the mirrors (thats very important to me). Triple sheeting is ultimately cozy. Walking distance to WalMart, Panera, Dicks Sporting Goods and Michaels. I am looking forward to our next stay! January 8, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Just okay We stayed at this hotel prevously and stayed there again because we liked it. This time my husband and I were not as pleased. The room heater was very loud. The pool water was cold, it felt barely heated. For those reasons, I doubt we will be staying there again. January 6, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Fox news and breakfast I stay at this hotel almost weekly. It has a good staff, a good location and is clean and comfortable. I do have two concerns: 1) the breakfast manager only likes Fox News with breakfast. She keeps the remote in her pocket. 2) The internet wireless services can be intermittent. If they could resolve these issues I would give it a5 across the board. January 2, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!! I recent stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks (minus weekends). During the first week, I nonchalantly mentioned that I loved the room that I was staying in. After that, I was placed in the same room every week!! It almost feels like home when you get the same room!!! The room was so comfortable! The bedding was so clean that I did what I rarely do in hotel rooms: snuggle with the blanket. I am not one to have housekeeping clean my room (because I just dont want to bother the staff just to have my bed made when I dont even make it at home) but when they cleaned my room, they did an amazing job!! The front desk staff was also amazing!! This was the FIRST Holiday Inn I have stayed at that acknowledged me as a priority club member!! All so friendly and helpful!!! The breakfast was very wonderful and had a lot of choices!! The breakfast attendant greeted me with a nice smile and "good morning" every day!!! With Wal Mart just a few steps away, it was very convenient to grab anything I forgot from home! I love this hotel and will definitely be back!!! December 19, 2012

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great room The room was quiet, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom very clean. The lighting in the bathroom was a bit dim for a woman applying makeup. The breakfast was at best adequate. The "scrambled eggs" must have been powered eggs; they were not eatable. However, there was yogurt, pastries, bread products, and cereals. Coffee was very tasty, but the supply was not replenished quickly when emptied. November 25, 2012

The property is rather new and the rooms are spacious and well kept. I find the staff really friendly and hospitable. They take the extra step to make my stay more comfortable and enjoyable. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Guest Service Horrible!!!! A narcotic pill bottle was taken from my room. The general manager moreless called me a liar because his employee of 13 years wouldnt do that!!! Never resolved and still charged for room and more than first two nights(Monday). He then called back and disguised his voice and told me he was the owner and would resolve it!!! Very unprofessional! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Breakfast I love Holiday Inn Express, but I'm getting really tired of sausage, sausage, sausage! There is always sausage gravy and you advertise bacon - BUT YOU NEVER HAVE IT! Either alternate between the two (actually, with the gravy, you should always serve bacon as an alternate meat) or take bacon off your ads. We've stayed at various H.I.X. hotels about 15 times this year and have only had bacon when we specifically requested it. October 12, 2012
