Front desk person on duty was not helpful and combative. Did not respond to my request to verify room charges.
Bathroom sink did not drain, took over 30 minutes for sink to drain.
Still very noisy with construction going on.

I am on the road 50% of the year and usually stay at an IHG brand property. Usually, I am very happy with the hotels, the service, the people, etc.. This location, where I stayed for 2 nights, was horrendous!
None of the electronic door locks were working so the front desk attendant had to leave the desk with her "master key" for each guest to access the room following check in. Same scenario each time a guest left their room and returned. Lots of irate customers backed up in the lobby area.
No greeting recognizing club membership, in my case Platinum Elite.
Breakfast - 7 AM - Pancake machine was "broken", food offering was very limited.
No newspaper at the door in the morning.
I should have cancelled and moved to another hotel but my travel plans were rigid.
I'm surprised that the Manager made no visible attempt to get the problems corrected, communicate with the guests and offer some sort of bonus to make up up for the inconvenience.

We booked a room with two queen beds but were upgraded to two kings at check-in.
The staff was very friendly.
When we got to the room it smelled of cigarette smoke.
The rugs looked old and dingy.
I was glad we were only staying there overnight.
I couldn't stand being in the room in these conditions.
