Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by bed too soft, but nice employees The employees were very nice and helpful, but our beds were too soft, and the breakfast food wasn't the greatest quality. The hallway stunk of cigarette smoke. Nice to have a pool, but it is very small. I doubt we would stay there again. February 12, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good value Decided to take the family to North Conway on short notice, usually we stay at the lodge/bed & breakfast type places, but not many available on short notice. My only quibbles, the bed in our room was ultra soft, as were the pillows. Also, the property is on some kind of snowmobile trail, so a lot of snowmobilers seem to stay at this Holiday Inn Express and are revving their snowmobiles are 630/7 in the morning. Unfortunately, we were on the end of the building abutting the trail, so we heard them stomping by the room to the exit and getting their snowmobiles going outside. Rooms are nice and clean as are the bathrooms. The morning breakfast is a notch or two above the typical continental breakfast. Bagels, toast, cereals, yogurt, fruit, eggs, ham, biscuits and pancakes all were available the mornings we went down to eat. Staff was very cordial, although unable to help with a new room request (due to the beds/proximity to the trail) because they were close or at capacity. That's nothing against the staff or the hotel itself, just unlucky in my instance I think. February 5, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best place to stay in N. Conway I visit N. Conway at least 3-4 times a year and this hotel is conveniently located to all the activities, shopping and restaurants. The staff is excellent, they are always smiling and happy to help you. The free breakfast is delicious and has great variety. My kids love the indoor heated pool and the cinnamon rolls they serve at breakfast. January 24, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel Everything was great we enjoyed our one night stay and the person who checked us in even saved us some money as we were told about discounted lift tickets available at the local resorts that we took her up on. The only thing I was disappointing in was the pool area. The towels that are left out for the guest are no bigger than a hand towel and not really that useful. January 9, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by uncomfortable bed, poorly made up, not enough covers. Loud motor in refrigerator and heating unit. I would not chose to stay here again unless these things were greatly improved. The people at the front desk were very pleasant and helpful and not to blame for these poor conditions. I was going to ask for a room with a fireplace due to the very cold weather.Our reservation was there AND to our surprise we had beeen upgraded to a room with a fireplace and jacuzzi. The front desk person was very knowledgable about new stores and restaurants in the area. The room was very spacious and had a sitting area with fireplace. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept like babies. The breakfast was delicious and there were many choices, including hot entrees. The dining room staff was also very pleasant. Breakfast was very leisure and enjoyable. The only criticism I would have is the type of "fabric" used on the sofa and chair. It almost seemed like plastic and was not extremely comfortable, This did not distracrt from our two night stay. I would highly recommend this property. December 2, 2013
