Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent breakfast and very nice room Was in area for a couple days of business in NY and PA, so I had my choice of hotels. Based on my positive experiences at a Holiday Inn Express in NJ, I chose this one. Very friendly staff, clean room with very nice linens and pillows (not always a given at hotels) and full hot breakfast. Plus sandwiches and soup available at check-in-- never saw that before. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Great place to be away from home Because they try to make it feel like home. Got back to the hotel Tuesday night, raining, cold, miserable in Erie. Walked into the lobby, and the woman at the desk told me there was hot soup and sandwiches in the breakfast area. Perfect! Just what the doctor ordered to relax. Afterward I walked next door to the Harvest restaurant and grabbed an adult beverage, and enjoyed the rest of the night. December 18, 2014

From restaurant and activity suggestions, to offering free sandwiches and soup late at night, to supplying a toilet article or extending checkout, these guys cannot be beat. Just a lovely experience. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not good Nasty stains on wall. Nasty stains on curtains. Dirty and worn. Not what I am used to from holiday inn. Breakfast was ok though. Tons of checkin problems but maybe that was just my bad luck. Stay somewhere else if you can. December 3, 2014
