I arrived and was pleasantly greeted. As I registered, I mentioned that the gas station across the street was charging high prices. Your staff member agreed and immediately directed me to a station in town which charged $0.20 less per gallon.
Taking the time out of her busy day to help me on my trip was a nice touch.

Our stay at the Holiday inn North East was a pleasant experiance. The staff at the check in were very helpful in outlining the local area and where to eat and shop.
The room was comfortable and clean.
Considering the proximity to the I-90 the room was quiet so sleeping was not a problem.
The breakfast was good with an excellent selection of food.

overall a very nice unit, but we had a bad experience. One of the main reasons we booked was it's a non-smoking building. Well, either the previous guests smoked heavily in the bathroom before they left, or the people in the room next to us were smoking and it backfed into our room. Either way we were NOT happy, but the hotel was full and therefore they couldn't move us to a better smelling unit.

While tthe staff and facilities are excellent, and the breakfast superb, I regret to advise that noise from vehicles going past the hotel is considerable. Likewise, the sound insultation between rooms is not good. When the gentlemen in the room next to mine called his wife to say goodnight, and used his speakerphone, I heard every word of both sides of the conversation.

We arrived after a stormy day of long travel.
The staff were really excellent.
We were able to relax and continue the next day in a much better frame of mind.
We travel south/north every year and will certainly pick this hotel whenever the timing is good, or even close to good.
