Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Clean Overall the hotel was clean and comfortable. However, I had room 102, which is next to the pool pump. It makes quite a bit of noise and woke me up several times. If not for that experience, I would have rated the hotel much higher. May 24, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Continual Disappointment Property need much care, the rooms I have stayed in do not look clean. Curtains need washing, drapes are poorly hung. Feel uncertain of the cleanliness of bed linen, carpets and bathroom. My vehicle was broken in and tools stolen, found that three other vehicle was broken into same night. Will not Tay at this location when wiring in the NE Maryland area. May 22, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Passed it's prime Hotel seems a little tired - from bedding and linens and towels to elevator and furnishings. The buiding is in need of upgrading. Location is great - near to major travel routes and cute town with nice restaurants, but can't imagine anyone staying for more than one night. May 14, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfort of bed We had stayed at a Holiday Inn Express three nights previous to this stay in North East. The beds were much more comfortable in the previous Holiday Inn Express. The bed in North East did not appear to be the pillow top and not quite as enjoyable. Otherwise, all in all was okay. The facility is a little outdated in some areas but okay for travelling. May 13, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Internet, unable to connect The First night I was there I was having problems connecting to the internet so I called the front desk. The Girl working told me that due to the stormy weather the internet was having problems. I'm assuming she thinks the internet comes from a Satelite : ) Even though the answer was comical I still had issues connecting. The Second night I was having the same issues and a guy answered the phone, he informed me that I should reboot and keep trying. After 2 hours to checking back to see if I was connected it finally worked. People that work on the road require internet to complete their daily work and not having a solid connection will cause you to lose lots of guests. I checked out a day early to find another hotel. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Don't forget anything in your room I travel a good bit for work, this hotel was just o.k. You could hear the noise of the cars going by in the rooms, the breakfast was fair and there were "stink" bugs in the room. After a 3 hour drive home I realized that I had left a coat in my room. Immediately, I called the hotel to see if they had it. The desk clerk was very nice and went up to check because my room wasn't occupied that evening, but didn't find my coat. He left a message with the morning crew to call me after they checked. When I didn't hear anything the next morning, I called. The desk clerk seemed less than interested in helping and basically said no they didn't have it. There is only one thing that could have happened.... the cleaning crew kept it and didn't report finding the coat. It can be replaced but the attitude from the daytime clerk will make me not stay at this hotel again. December 11, 2012

The staff there is fantastic and makes you welcome, especially Dina who has everything ready for me at check-in so it takes 1-2 minutes and I'm on my way to my room. I really enjoy it at Northeast Holiday Inn Express. December 5, 2012

The hotel and especially the staff have made me feel welcome from the first time I walked into the lobby. The rooms are impeccably clean and well maintained. The breakfast is always plentiful with a great variety of both hot and cold foods. I highly recommend this hotel. December 4, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great stay, great place I had the pleasure of staying at this property, and they continue to impress me with their customer service and outgoing personality.... Checking in with Dina was great and I was actually acknowledged of being a priority club member with a little bag full of treats, the fresh cookies at the front desk was an awesome amenity too. In the morning I stopped by the breakfast to grab a banana and yogurt, and I was welcomed by Diana, who was cheerful and ready to help if I needed anything else, finally checking out with Lori was a breeze and to my surprise to have the General Manager at the desk too. Usually any hotel I've stayed at management does not show up till 10am, so I was surprised to see him there and impressed as he was speaking with another guest. So I definitely recommend staying here but make to ask for a room away from the road. November 20, 2012

They all went out of their way (and that is an understatement) to make sure we had all we needed, we were comfortable, etc. I have stayed at another Holiday Inn recently on vacation, and I think that Holiday Inn could have learned a lot from the Holiday Inn in Northeast. Beginnning with the Manager Jay, down to the maintenance person and everyone in between. I feel like we are treated like royalty, and I notice they treat everyone that way. Very nice rooms, clean, and quite comfortable. Very pleasant and will recommend to anyone staying in this area to stay at the Holiday Inn in Northeast! October 16, 2012
