Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible neighborhood I brought my teenage daughter and two of her friends to the area for a concert. Saw some online reviews that gave the hotel decent marks. Buyer beware - this hotel is located in a rough neighborhood -- one that you wouldn't want to be outside of the hotel -- at any time of the day. September 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service I really enjoyed my stay and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Once inside the Inn, you forget about the city around you because it's so quiet. Great breakfast options and very clean rooms. I appreciate the privacy and security offered at this Inn. You need the room card to access the elevator before getting to your room. Any staff in the Inn offered assistance and greeted me with a smile. September 16, 2014

Everything is clean and well maintained and the staff is very friendly--everyone I met greeted me with a smile and a kind word. People seem to like working there, which is a positive indication of good management and working conditions. The breakfast was much more than I expected; access to the web was easy and convenient. I also appreciated the quiet corridors and surrounding areas; I had an undisturbed sleep--unusual for a large hotel!!. Thanks for the memorable stay. I'll be back. E. B. September 15, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hollywood is Pricey, but Competitive rates for a good room Stayed 1 night, had a good experience. Pool area was nice but the view was not. Not the hotels fault but due to the location many back-lots were visible. But the patio furniture was great and it was warm. Room cleanliness, Staff, check-in, and check-out were all excellent. Breakfast was good in selection, but average in quality. Cheese-whiz on eggs, no thanks! Overall, I would stay again if in Hollywood September 11, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful Surprise! This was a very comfortable hotel with a decent price. Breakfast was unbelievable and included in the price. The breakfast was better than at any other hotel we stayed at during our visit to California. We regret staying at the other more expensive hotels as Holiday Inn Express-North Hollywood was a nice central location to many attractions. It would have been nice to have water available at all times since it was very hot out. Overall the rooms were very nice, comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times. Everything is new so it was beautiful. The only odd thing is that the lobby entry is in the back of the building Seemed odd at first but in the end we really understood it. Great experience, great stay, would definitely stay here again and again. September 5, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good hotel - shame about the area. This is a fairly new hotel and, therefore, it is clean and efficient as would be expected. Everything works, except there are no vending machines on 2nd or 4th floors as the in-room guest services book says. The only down side is the area - there are simply no general amenities to speak of within walking distance. Not the fault of the hotel, but just so you know. September 4, 2014
