I stayed for four nights for a conference in Kansas City. My room was 228 at the end of the hall next to the stair well. Across from me and next to me were a number of men that came back at 2:30 am Friday night and partied all night with their doors open. They were yelling and the language was the worst.
Next morning I complained at the front desk and asked to be moved if they were going to be their Saturday night. I received no response. Saturday when I got back I asked the individual at the front desk if the group was still at the hotel and if so to be moved. I was lied to. I was told they left. By 9:30 pm they were again yelling and keeping their doors open. I went down to complain and ask if they could be told to quiet down. I was told that it was only 9:30 pm. The party continued late into the night.
I did not get enough sleep Friday and left the conference group to get some sleep. I was also sleep deprived Sunday. A few heated words were said at the front desk and I was reminded I was at a Holiday Inn Express, not a Holiday Inn. I thought what?????

The staff at this location are very friendly and work hard at making the stay the best. The front desk, housekeeping, and the attendant in the breakfast area were all very professional and interested in making sure our stay was the best they could make it. The only issue we had was with the pull out bed and the extra roll away bed for our room. Both were worn out and did not sleep well at all. The pillows are never firm enough at any hotel but at least the bed had numerous pillows so you could stack them for better support. Would stay here again if I was in the area.
