Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Looked Nice Outside, Got a Sour Puss Inside Upon Check-in late evening of July 3,2014 the young lady that was tending the front desk was not very friendly. She never once smiled or said anything about being glad we were staying at their hotel. I did not feel welcome at all. The air conditioner in the room was very noisy and thermostat did not work well. The room was either too hot or too cold. Did not get a good night sleep. The breakfast was good, especially the cinnamon rolls. The staff in the breakfast area and the morning front desk employees were very friendly. July 9, 2014

I feel TOTALLY comfortable in having them stay here. The staff is nice, the area is safe, and that cost is VERY good. June 28, 2014

Our biggest problem is nothing was done to fix the problem or move us to another room. We have to think before use this hotel again. June 21, 2014

I would recommend anyone to stay here if you're looking for a comfortable experience. This is definately the hotel to stay in anytime you're looking for a hotel in North LIttle Rock, AR. She takes great pride in her work and there is never an empty item! She remembers guests that have been there before and is always polite to everyone. I would give this hotel 5 stars but the 3rd floor hallways smells like cigarette smoke pretty bad! May 25, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Change the batteries in your smoke detectors and act like you want guests Got to hotel, front desk person was not very welcoming. First nights sleep was miserable, with smoke detector in room chirping every hour. Called desk and no one came up. Reported again in the morning, and manager just stared at me and walked away. No apologies for inconvenience or anything. At least they fixed by my second night. Then when I went to use vending machines the buttons were mislabeled and machine dispensed wrong items. Went down to the front desk to let them know and they said yes they knew and that the vending company needed to fix it. IF YOU KNOW THERE IS A POTENTIAL CUSTOMER SERVICE PROBLEM, WHY NOT PUT A SIGN UP THAT WARNS PEOPLE. Don't blame a contractor. I don't care who the contractor is, you manage my customer experience, so manage it. Again the manager at that time shared no apologies for the inconvenience. The property was very nice, but customer service needs a major attitude adjustment. May 5, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Clean room and comfortable bed The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Overall the room was really nice. Upon checking in, tho, the employee wasn't very friendly towards me and we are plantinum members, even tho it doesn't matter if you are a member or not, but other Holiday Inn Express have been super to us. We were not told about breakfast as to what time it was served, or what the password to the wifi was or where our room was located. I had to ask those questions myself. The following morning for breakfast, we were there at 6:40 and there was nothing but coffee. Found the sign and it stated on Saturdays, breakfast starts at 7am. I have never been to one that served it so late. And breakfast is the reason we stay at the express. April 30, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Location I recently stayed at this property for travel with my job. The location of the hotel is great! The staff were all wonderful and cheerful, even the cleaning personnel. I have stayed here once prior and will do so again each time I travel to N Little Rock. I was welcomed and appreciated for being a rewards member, which doesn't happen often and I would definitely recommend this property to others. My only "issue" is that they only have the "social" on Wednesday evenings instead of M-T like most others and I was awaken two mornings at zero dark thirty by the trash truck next door at chick-fil-a (my room was on that side of the building). Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Betty at breakfast I spilled coffee all over - also shirt. Betty, caretaker of breakfast bar, quickly got wet cloth & soap for me to get rid of coffee stain immediately. I did change shirts, and I appreciate the help from Betty! One night there was an off & on roar, seemed from the parking lot. Maybe like a cooler truck needed its AC machine on. Anyway it was disturbing... Otherwise the three days at Holiday inn Express were great. March 11, 2014

A helpful and nice thing for the guest and salted and cleaned front entrance for everyone. Great hotel to stay at. We always stay here when we come to Little Rock! February 12, 2014
