Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by cleanliness The hotel staff was wonderful and courtious all the way from the front desk to the morning breakfast! I could not have been more pleased with out treatment. I was however completely disappointed by the cleanliness, and utterly disgusted by how backed up our shower was. I've stayed in much, much cleaner rooms for about a third of the cost. I would not recommend this location or stay myself for future overnights, even with the friendliest staff! My parents were also traveling with me, and their adjoining room still had someone's swimsuit in it. July 25, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by sleepless night Sleepless night because of intense noise. The key card did not work either morning to re inter from the outside. When loading the car we had to go around front to re enter and get the rest of our luggage. Very annoying especially beings I had a head ace from not getting any sleep the night before. I think the kids should have been told if they were called down a second time they would either have to leave or pay for our room . July 24, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not worth the stay I have stayed at this hotel twice now. Once for a meeting in their conference center and just recently passing through on trip. The first stay was okay, but after this weekend I will not stay here again. My room was NOT clean. The toilet ran all night, the shower didnt drain, my pillows had makeup stains on them once you flipped them over (I guess the cleaning staff thought no one would look). The breakfast was beyond subpar even by a continental breakfast standard. If your hotel is almost sold out, you'd think they would think about breakfast rush... Nope!! Had to wait in line for 10-15 minutes for cold, tasteless biscuits and eggs. If you're going to advertise a hot breakfast, then it should be hot. After the "hot" choices, the pickings were few and far between. I did appreciate having a fridge with milk cartons, something most lack but it still didn't make up for me only being able to salvage a banana as edible. There are several hotels close with same or better pricing, I'd suggest looking at them before HIE again. July 22, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 bathroom cleanliness and cleaning staff For the cost I expected the bathroom to be cleaner. The toilet had stains or scratches. The shower head cap thing next to the wall was loose and the handicap handle had mildew around the edge. Starting about 8 am the staff was knocking on every door "Housekeeping" , knock, knock, "Housekeeping"...... I do understand they have to be cleaning BUT we were also still trying to sleep.... It was the weekend! Can they not get a list of who is checking out and work from that? July 21, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Price Wish that there was a lower price for Seniors and handicap people. Having the first floor handicap rooms are great as most handicap people have a hard time using upper floors as the handicap room that we had in Oct. was on the opposite end of the hallway from the elevator which was a real hard ship .
