Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to stay. This is our second year staying here and it is such a nice hotel and the staff were excellent. Always asking if we were doing ok. Rooms have been clean and comfortable. One complaint is the pool is very cold. Would be nice if it was a bit warmer for the younger kids. Otherwise great place to stay. April 29, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by It Was OK When I went to take a shower, the tub was visibly dirty. The used shampoo bottle was left on top of the shower. The iron had standing water in it from the previous guest. The ice machine had been removed from the floor. The bed creaked with every movement I made. When I complained to the front desk, they made arrangements for the bathroom to be recleaned. Housekeeping left the dirty towels on the back of the toilet. I will try another hotel chain when I return to North Platte. April 22, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hit & Miss Was impressed with front desk that asked if we were priority club members and immediately upgraded us to a dbl king. Not impressed with the lumpy looking beds...not up to usual HIE standards. Pool was cold, hot tub not warm enough to make us linger. Rating was headed for 3* until the nice complimentary breakfast was finished by the breakfast person sending us on our way with a bag of food and containers for the road. Her friendliness yanked the score back to 4* April 20, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Above and Beyond We like staying at Holiday Inn Express hotels because we know we can count on a high level of service. This hotel extends that level of service to include a reception each evening that includes wine, beer and munchies. It was a great way to end our drive for the day and to relax before dinner. If only each Holiday Inn Express would follow the example! April 18, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Woken up at the crack of dawn Overall, my experience was awful at this hotel. The maids were pounding on my door at the crack of dawn, completely disturbing my sleep. Not only did they do this once, but did it again an hour later to see if anything changed. It was rude and unappreciated. No other hotel that I have stayed at has ever woken me up by pounding on my door. I can't believe that this is tolerated. March 28, 2013

The rooms are well cleaned and kept in very good repair. The breakfast is very good and all offerings are fresh. The staff keeps the area clean and family friendly. The evening cocktail gathering hosted by the manager, consisting of free soda, beer, wine and snacks is very well done. The cookies & milk offered later in the evening are a treat for which to look forward. March 26, 2013

Our only complaint was that it did not seem as clean this visit as it was on our prior visit. Overall, it's a great place, and we will definitely stay when we are through the area again. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Did not want my business & ignored my phone calls I stay 4-6 times a month almost exclusively at Holiday Inn Express locations. By far this was the worst experience I have ever had. From making my reservation with an almost incomprehensible speaking front desk attendant to (2) property managers not returning my phone messages. What kind of business has (2) managers that ignore a customer? Front desk arrival attendant acted like she did not want my business. Please send some training in customer service to this location as they are giving my home state of Nebraska a bad name. March 18, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Lack of customer care or welfare I had the misfortune of injurying myself at this property and twice going to front desk to request first aid and both times NO ONE took time to address my needs. When staying as a guest of any facility, one would assume that your well being if first and foremost. PATHETIC!!!!!!!!!!!! I travel to the North Platte area quite regulary for business and will no longer be using the Holiday Inn North Platte. December 26, 2012

We are so welcomed and cared for when we have meetings in North Platte. The conference rooms are set up with efficiency and we were even provided a Christmas treat of coffee for the school personnel attending the training. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Visit on11/2012 I have to say I was not empressed at all with my stay at this hotel... The lobby was clean and presentable.. The lady at the desk was nice and friendly.. The room on the other hand was q huge disappointment. Below is the list of things that were not good. -Dirty hand towel with brown stains on it -Dirty wash cloth and discolored -Shower was not clean - Shower head had quite bit of lyme on it -Carpet in room was very stained and blotchy -Old sheet on bed, you could tell by how the tread was worn down -Bed was very lumpy, and you could see lumps in it The room had a very overall dirty and unwelcoming feeling about it. - November 16, 2012

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Pets They put us in a pet room without telling us. My wife has asthma, I am extremely allergic to cats. Yes they moved us after I seneezed for 2 hours, but why are they putting people in rpet rooms without telling you? I was up all night. My sister-in-law had pet hair all over her pants. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by room condition When we turned down our covers to go to bed we found a large blood spot on the duvet. Since it was late we removed it from the bed just used the sheets which were clean. Also the toilet could have used a better more detailed cleaning. My room was clean, comfy bed and nice large(ish) towels. There is a small fitness room with 2 good treadmills...the eliptical and stepper are probably from the turn of the century and the room was hot. Nice pool area. October 29, 2012

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel location We arrived about midnight and found a person laying in the parking lot bdhind a van who appeared to be intoxicated. Upon further investigation he indicated he has Cerebral Palsy and cant get up and needed a wheelchair from the hotel lobby. When I confronted the hotel staff they immediately knew who he was (Steven) and ran to his aid. We wheeled him into the lobby where the staff bandaged his cuts and abrasions from his fall and covered him with a blanket. Apparently he is a Pastor attending a bible camp close by and has been a regular guest at the hotel. I was very pleased to see such a responsive staff. You could see it in his expressions that he was extremely happy to be in such good care at the Holiday Inn!!! October 11, 2012
