We pre-booked two hotel rooms in advance, choosing the one with one double bed and one sofa bed, as we had three people staying in each room. We arrived quite late and were exhausted, wanting to just take a shower and crawl into bed. When we went to use the sofa beds, however, neither one was made nor was there enough appropriate bedding or pillows. We tried calling both the front desk and housekeeping numerous times, but there was no answer at either extension. We finally went downstairs to the front desk, where we waited in line for almost 10 minutes. When we requested housekeeping to come make the beds, we were told that the front desk staff was the only employee on site and he was too busy to help right away. He also argued with us that there was enough bedding in the room and we were to just make the beds ourselves. When we reiterated that there was not enough bedding, he told us we would have to wait for the rest of the people in line to be served (there were four) before he would even go and get bedding. This, to us, was completely unacceptable. We had waited in line for our turn and were now being told our issue was not important enough for him to attend to right away. Even after explaining that we had an athlete with special needs having a meltdown (quite tiring and noisy at the end of a long day), he continued to say that he was unable to help us and we would have to wait. Again, this is completely unacceptable. We waited another 15 minutes before being provided with two pillows and one blanket (for two beds in two separate rooms!). At this point, we were just too tired to try and explain our situation once more and gave up. The employee was neither apologetic nor was he helpful.
We are regular Holiday Inn patrons, staying with this chain 4-6 times a year. We are so disappointed in the way we were treated and the lack of anticipation and care taken in prepping our rooms. We would not recommend this location to anyone.

I am writing a letter of recommendation in expressing my full support to your property and program. It is not often at all that I come across a hotel of his type, or especially his unique background.
