It's fair to say that not everything went exactly to plan. however, the staff, although under great pressure, dealt with everything efficiently and never stopped smiling. March 4, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed If you are after somewhere to sleep this is fine. If you need feeding whilst you are there forget it. I was booked in for two nights by my company my first night i was informed that there was a fault in the kitchen and there was a long delay. i went to my room and returned at 20:30ish to be told there were no more orders being taken for food. OK off for a takeaway everyone has problems benefit of the doubt given. Next night order food at 18:50 told there was a 40 minute delay with food, here we go again at 20:00 still no food has arrived no explanation offered. went to reception cancelled food went for takeaway again. After being o n the road all day the last thing you need is to stay here. Very disappointed as i have stayed at other Holiday Inn Express and had no problems. March 3, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly staff and excellent service The hotel is modern, comfortable and a great place to relax. I stay a lot on business and have never had a problem. I don't like sitting in restaurants by myself and so usually order food on a tray to take back up to my room so the introduction of room service would be a real benefit as it can sometimes be a little daunting if the bar area is full when you pick up your tray. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good quality at a good price, but vary the breakfast As usual a VG stay with nice people. We need a dog-friendly hotel and this is it. Our only suggestion is to change or vary the ingredients of the hot breakfast: the sausages are not the best and could be replaced by bacon as the chain does in Europe (Belgium). Otherwise a VG stay which we will repeat. March 3, 2015
