Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Grandsire Helpful staff, nice stay
We booked for the Friday night by mistake (because the website dates go from Sun to Sat), and had to call to rearrange the night before. Staff were very helpful and sorted it out for us.
Room was clean and comfy, breakfast nice but would be better with bacon.

Reception Staff were brilliant, hotel was clean - spacious light and airy (even the smoking room i requested) couldnt fault a thing. Well done highly recommended and would stay again.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by JonathanClive49 Worst Holiday Inn Experience for some time
What was intended to be a friendly family re-union weekend ended up being a tough disappointing experience. The hub of our problem was an electrically generated noise which physically hurt and kept one of our party awake. Having tried to sleep (and failed) a member of staff came to the room and said he couldn't hear anything so could do nothing. The family member came to me 30mins later in tears as the noise was hurting her ears, but she felt bad complaining. Later another member of staff came on duty who obviously was familiar with the situation and moved half of our party to another local hotel.
Breakfast is what it is; and location is good to visit relatives near by, but poor if you're looking to visit central Norwich.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Molly1965 Great room - Awful parking
There were very few car park spaces for guests. You shared with Asda customers and a very busy Virgin health club. A long walk in a very busy area.
The evening staff who served in the restaurant were well versed in customer service, great customer approach.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Midlander Useful base for visit to Norwich and Norfolk
Located just off Ring Road to north of city, and within easy reach of roads west, north and east. Set in a rather scruffy sports centre/retail park, the adjacent buildings being ugly and looking rather like air raid shelters, but the hotel interior is bright and cheerful. Bedroom was surprisingly spacious, and although room was at front of hotel, it was quiet.. It would have been of advantage to open a window, but windows are sealed. Reception staff were friendly and cheerful.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by grannybuttons Hard bed, claustrophobic room
Did the job, generally quite professional. I liked that there was Radio 4 available (and good selection of other radio stations), as I don't watch or like television.
But I found the bed too hard (in common with most modern budget hotels, to be honest) and the room too claustrophobic, because I like to open windows, hear a bit of outside noise and feel fresh air. This room had no opening windows, not even the 'ajar' setting of other hotels.
I also found the room too warm. The minimum 64F of the air conditioning isn't enough - I prefer to sleep in a colder room with a cold face and warmer bed covering (it feels cosier to me that way).
Shower wasn't working properly, reported to reception.
I would love USB charging points rather than 13a plugs.
