Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Location good, breakfast...what breakfast? The room was ok, given the city centre location and no doubt heavy through traffic, the condition of the room was fine. However, our overall stay was tainted by the debacle facing us for Sunday morning breakfast. Breakfast is served until 10am we were told. We arrived at 09:25am, had to wait 20 mins for a table to become free, wait a further 10 mins for any sign of food which was then all snapped up by the other guest that had also been waiting for 30 odd minutes. In the end our party of 6 left the hotel restaurant without food and had to find alternative arrangements (a handy McDs is a short walk thankfully...) So much for breakfast included. To top it off, upon returning to the hotel at 10:45am to check-out (11am is the cut-off...we would have been checking out around 10am if breakfast had gone according to plan!) our room key had been disabled as the hotel assumed we'd left having opted for the pre-pay checkout arrangement when checking in the previous day. So after a walk up to 3rd floor, back down again to get a key re-coded, back up, grab the bags and back down we finally brought our stay to an end. Phew. I would have to think hard before I rebooked this hotel. The location is spot on for the Theatre & Concert Hall but our experience at breakfast left a lot to be desired. November 21, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by very uncomfortable bed The bed was very old and sagged in the middle, badly stained carpet, small poor quality towels. Staff on the whole not friendly or helpful, service indifferent only used this hotel again as it is near to the Theatre and concert halls. Bar area is cold not enough staff had to wait quite some time to get served. Breakfast however was OK again staff not very helpful had to ask for teaspoons. November 21, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Lovely hotel. Not sure of level of cleanliness Great hotel, perfectly situated for restaurants, shops & bars. We were going to the Royal Concert Hall which was a less than a five minute walk away. Hotel was quiet at night so we were not disturbed at all. Beds were very soft but surprisingly comfortable. Breakfast was fine - plenty of choice & constantly replenished. The only negative about our stay was I'm not sure how well our room was cleaned as there was a pile of used contact lenses on the bedside table. Makes you wonder if beds/towels were changed either but I guess you never can tell. Overall the room looked clean but I don't know how these could've been missed if it was. November 20, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Lovely staff and comfy bed. It was a lovely room and clean apart from a dirty carpet, big stains on it by the bed. The bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was lovely and clean. Breakfast was a big disappointment as the advertised as hot food. Sausages were the worst I had ever tried, I couldn't eat them as they weren't cooked properly. The scrambled eggs and beans were ok but couldn't really ruin them! The rest of the food wasn't too bad and a good selection. The check in staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a good spot in the area. You have to park at car park a few minutes walk from the hotel. Apart from needing a carpet cleaner and a lesson in cooking sausages, I would use this hotel again. October 27, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by midweek getaway Perfect place to stay, central Nottingham, reduced parking rates in nearby multi storey car park, we were going to a gig at Capital FM arena and this was within easy walking distance. Good breakfast included in the price... October 27, 2014
