We stayed here after we couldn't find a room closer to downtown and are thrilled we stayed at this hotel! The staff could not have been nicer and the rooms were clean and extremely comfortable. Would highly recommend!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Oakwood Village. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. I enjoyed visiting with the breakfast staff and was set at ease by the house keeping staff. The front desk staff were all helpful and patient. My best hotel stay to date!

The hotel is ok, nothing more than we expected. The major problem seems to be management, The room was not ready for us when we got there, even though that was 2 and a half hours after check in. We waited about fifteen minutes as two other families, who had arrived before us, waited for their rooms to be ready, another family came after us and they waited, too. When we got up to our room the door was wide open, which I thought strange. At check-out the manager/desk clerk? had trouble finding our bill and then had trouble printing another copy. The breakfast had no fruit, just carbs, so we skipped it.

I was able to book a room at the last minute and have no regrets. The room and service was excellent and I would recommend the motel to all my friends.

As a priority club member I stay quite often at Holday Inns. I rarely wite reviews but in this case one is justified. The management has only been there a year but their service, desire to please, and manners were outstanding to say the least. I was very impressed. The room was neat and clean and the maid service was excellent as well. I highly recommend the hotel and staff to all concerned!

this was a great room and stay. FULL size bathroom, LARGER Refrigerator and nice microwave make it great for working on the road.

is because I feel comfortable here. I need a wheelchair accessible room and the staff is always very accommodating and willing to help me if I need it. I have stayed in both W/C accessible rooms and both are set up well and easy for me to function in. While not heavy on the frills, when I am in the area (once or twice a year) I always plan to stay here.

I have stayed at this property each week for a year and have had only good experiences. The property is comfortable and clean; easy access and parking; and most of all the Staff is top Notch.

This was one of the highest priced Holiday inn Express I ever stay in.
They are cutting cost buy cutting the breakfast foods in quarters. Did they use soap when they washed my sheets?
I made the mistake thinking it was just a bad day no, came back later that same week.
Priority Club you have a place to mark a hotel as a favorite you need to add a spot to mark to avoid this location.
I am a Priority Club member for close to 15 yr maybe more. Also a vacation club member and own a condo in orange lake.
In 15 years I have never needed to do this before.

I would recommend this HI to everyone. Front desk people are great! Check in is quick and they always take care of my needs. Prices are reasonable and location is good.

I have stayed at this location numerous times and am always impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They go out of their way to assure the comfort of their guests, and in my view that is the point of the hospitality business in general. The rooms are always clean and comfortable, and everything WORKS! The location is great, with lots of good retail and dining establishments, and the proximity to I 271 makes it ideal for doing business across the greater Cleveland and Akron areas. I always look forward to trips where I can settle in for a few days of quiet comfort at this HIX,

this property needs some serious maintenance. very poor lighting, room appearance and amenities. no fitness facility, bathroom was poorly maintained. very disappointed. as a result stayed in hampton inn the rest of my trip in akron and canton.

I checked in on a Tuesday afterr 5:00 PM and went to my room and it was not made up yet. The fellow behind the counter must not have believed me because he had to go and look for himself. He came back and said the room would be ready in 20 minutes and I said that is not satisfactory, what am I going to do sit in the lobby when I wanted to relax. The woman co-worker said that she would upgrade me to a suite at no extra charge which was fine except I should have received an upgrade in the first place since I am a Platinum member. She said if there are not many rooms left they do not have to upgrade Platinum members.
On Thursday night my wife was trying to reach me at the hotel and after several unsuccessful attempts the person who took the call said that she would check to see if I was there. She knocked on the door and said my wife was trying to reach me and asked if the phone was off the hook. She checked it herself and determined there was a problem and she would try to fix it. She was not able to fix it but to her credit she brought a cell phone so I could call my wife. However, I had already called my wife with my cell phone but I was without the hotel's phone service for the rest of the night.
This was one of the worse experiences that I ever had at a Holiday Inn Express that was one of the more expensive Holiday Inn Expresses that I have stayed at recently.
