Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Best thing at hotel was Thea! I have to say, first impressions will leave you running. The receptionist that was there when we arrived was not very friendly at all. She took my credit card and was holding it as she was telling us that we were at the wrong hotel and the one we wanted was about 30 miles on down. I had to ask (as she was still holding on to my card) if they had rooms available and she told me yes but then also told me that I needed to cancel the ones that I had made with the other hotel. She was very rude and we would have went elsewhere if everyone wasn't so tired. I also said that we were members and asked for the military discount and I am not sure I got it because I looked up the best rate and it was lower than what I had to pay. The next morning there was an improvement but it wasn't much. The saving grace at this hotel was Thea! She made up for the horrible staff at the reception desk. If not for her I would have given 2 stars and that was because I was being generous. The rooms were clean, small and when I walked down the hall, I heard talking from other rooms, but nothing was horrible, so I guess three stars is more than enough. Oh and if you exercise.... go to another hotel, they don't have one here but the recommend the hospital next door and I wasn't going there when I had just witnessed an angry guest throwing bags outside. I normally check-in very late, and get out early. the consistency from the internet, to the soap bottles and breakfast, make it my home away from home. I never have to guess, and know exactly where everything should be. This stay was again, great, comfortable... and as my conference call went long, the housekeeping service was more than friendly in waiting for me. December 8, 2014

One thing I would like to see as common practice is that non-feather pillows be placed on the beds or kept in the room so one who has feather allergies does not have to call the front desk for pillows. This is not specific to HIE but across the board for all overnight accommodation facilities! Thanks for a great stay! December 4, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Quality was low The vending and ice machines on our floor were broken, as were the washer and dryer. The light bulb in the lamp by the couch had such low wattage that I could barely read my book. The refrigerator was barely cool at best - we used our own portable ice chest instead. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked. The room and bathroom were very clean, although the room impressed me as a bit "shabby." I felt I paid too much for a room that was similar to a mom and pop no-name motel. I won't stay there again. November 29, 2014
