The room was very comfortable and service was great. The staff was most pleasant. Breakfast offerings were extensive and staff most attentive there.
Because of smokers around pool area, cigarette butts had accumulated. Need a place for smokers to discard cigarette butts as a courtesy to other hotel guests.

Value of the hotel was better than surrounding offerings, but is an older facility. Pool was okay and hot tub worked very well. Beds were comfortable, and the rooms were clean. Parking was cramped and slots were very narrow. Glad we weren't driving a suburban. Very close to Legoland, and was chosen for that reason.

I frequently stay at Holiday Inn hotels, and this one was nothing compared to any other ones. This hotel puts the Holiday Inn/Holiday Inn Express brand name to shame. The hotel is very outdated. Our beds were comfortable but the room was bland. Our air conditioner didn't work and the room had a mouldy smell. We checked out as early as possible because we didn't feel comfortable or safe staying at this hotel. It was a disappointment staying here, and as a travel agent, I definitely wouldn't recommend any of my clients to stay here.

We have been using HIE hotels for a long time and we must say the Oceanside HIE is the lowest quality we have ever stayed in. It needs major renovations and you need to lower the price to reflect the quality. For example our Willows Ca and Portland Or experience was quite superior for less cost.

The staff was excellent , the room okay but with lots of noise from the roadway.It has a gap under the entry door to the out side. The mattress was really uncomfortable. Sore back in the AM. The rate was ok/good and I kept tell myself that I was not buying just spending a night,
It was most likley just the room we stayed in. I would check the room before accepting it...if we ever stayed there again.

I had mistakenly booked my accommodations for this hotel for the wrong night, and when I arrived there my reservation had come and gone already. The staff were excellent and corrected the situation without any problems. Great service !

You need to have the cable co. look at the timings in channel selecting.
Either by scrolling or entering channel Nos., there was a 8 sec. lapse in between channels.
Starting from Channel 02 to "30 something" literally took around 3 minutes !
Go up /down, there is blackness and the next channel appears later.
Other than that, another good Holiday Inn visit.
