The rooms have been recently renovated with thought to small details such as individual reading lights and extra plug ins so everyone had easy access to plug phones in. The decor was nice and the room was clean. The location was easy access to Chesterfield and several restaurants were close by. The only downside was the breakfast area was very small for the hotel size and the quality of the food was not as expected. However, that would not keep me from staying at the hotel when in the area. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by like the remodeling Place is still being remodeled on the first floor and breakfast area. The staff here is the best. Michele, Tammy and Susan just to name a few always welcome you. They are amazing and really do care about you and your stay. I travel a lot so the breakfast is getting old, same food on ame days. Rooms after being remodeled are very good, Beds are comfortable and room look very good. Housekeeping is good but they miss items. No shampoo one day, no toilet paper the next. Little things but, the need to standardize what they do, check their work. I think once they get the front lobby and the breakfast area completed this will be an exceptional Holiday Inn Express. They really raised the prices for sure, so we are paying for the remodeling. Overall a great, quiet, clean comfortable hotel. March 16, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Friendly Staff and Great Customer Service We were flying into St. Louis from Pittsburgh for a horse show - as luck would have it, our flight was cancelled late in the evening and we had to rent a car and drive 10 hours overnight. Obviously, we would not make it to the hotel - we drove straight to the horse show and needed to postpone our hotel reservation by 1 day. We were past the 6pm cancellation time because of the late cancellation by the airlines. I called, explained the situation, let them know we were driving and would be there the next day instead. Everyone we spoke to was extremely accommodating, expressed understanding and sympathy for our inconvenience, but made an exception and just changed my arrival date and did not charge me the extra day. The airlines and the car rental company could really learn a lot about outstanding customer service from the staff at Holiday Inn Express. Upon arrival, the staff was equally efficient and friendly. Kudos to this facility for their outstanding service!! We will definitely stay there again. March 11, 2015
