Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Comfortable bed and great service I was a bit late for breakfast and the young lady cleaning up was very kind and helpful allowing me to get food and even heated up a bun for me! I was delighted with her helpful attitude. Actually the whole staff was great. The staff alone was worth coming back for! The hotel was remodeling so was not completely ideal but did not cause any real problems other than esthetics. The room was clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable. January 29, 2015

Even though they were going thru renovation of the first floor, I was put on the 2nd level close to an exit for easy access with my dog. The Housekeeping Staff did an amazing job. Front desk Staff was VERY NICE. Overall one of the best Holiday Inn's I have been in for a while. January 28, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to stay This hotel was in the process of remodeling with the top 3 floors completed. My room was newly remodeled and had all my necessary amenities; lots of power outlets, wifi, TV. Breakfast was the standard Holiday Inn Express breakfast which was good and convenient. My only complaint was the constant humming from the outside that was loud on the first night; but by the second night I hardly noticed. The desk staff were quite friendly and helpful especially in recommending places to eat nearby. Staff working during breakfast were pleasant and constantly re-stocking food items for the guests. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by typical The hotel has been in constant renovation. the staff is amazing. Michelle is the best, Susan is amazing. I love all the staff there, make you feel comfortable and like family. The hotel renovations are a huge plus, it really needed it. I have stayed there about 20 times last year. Still have issues with televisions not working. But one call and they are fixed. I have stayed in many rooms there, some are better than others, need consistancy. But the rooms are clean, comfortable and mostly updated. Quiet hotel. Sick of the breakfast, but, I have been there many many times. Not the staff fault, just need some changes to same old eggs. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Enjoy stay and hospitality This was the second stay within 7 days of each other. Even during the remodeling, I enjoy the location and convience of this hotel. The one thing on this stay that I had an issue with was the cleaning schedule of the room. Three out of my six day stay, my room was not attended until almost 4:30 pm each day. One day I just asked to swap out my towels because we were ready to lay down awhile. Another day, they had simply forgotten to do the room. When I asked why so late, I was told the cleaning staff has to clean the check out rooms first. I do understand this, but the extended stay should and is usually cleaned before noon every place I have ever stayed. Check in time for open rooms isn't until 3:00 pm, so why the big push to have EVERY room in hotel ready, when there are other floors and rooms that can be assigned. This got to be a nuisance this time being I had returned due to a death in the family. I do hope this policy is looked into and changes made. We made sure we were out of the room by 10:00am each day due to normal cleaning time at every hotel I have stayed at. Most hotels have a check out time of 11:00am also, to allow plenty of time for the cleaning staff to perform their duties. This may also need to be looked at. Also, one other issue was the cart to bring luggage in and out of hotel. The first stay which was week before christmas one of the carts had two flat tires but that still allowed one other to be used. Upon returning this time the week of New Years, the cart STILL had flat tires. This was an issue this time due to more people in hotel trying to use just one cart. Small fixes like this should be attended too fairly quickly when the front desk staff knows of them. There also needs to be a cart provided for the staff that has to clean up the breakfast area each morning. The staff also has to use the luggage cart to carry out the trash bags that are taken from the breakfast area. A utility cart would fix this issue and a clip board of quick fixes for the maintenance staff to address would help on issues such as the flat tie on luggage cart. I am a very easy going customer and by no means does this make me not return to the hotel, but just would like these issues to be addressed. Now, if same issues are still there upon my next visit then I may look for other options. Thanks for your time and hope these issues are looked at. Happy New Year January 7, 2015
