I have stayed in many hotels over the years for different reasons. The reason I had to get a hotel room is I lost the right to live in a home that I own. Upon check-in, despite my attempt to put on a happy face, the lady (an angel) saw through that face and saw what I was really feeling. Taking a few extra moments she wanted to ensure that I would be okay during my stay. This meant a lot more than words can express. I have stayed in so many hotels over the years and the person behind the counter will usually ask how your day is going and regardless of what you look or sound like they will get your signature and give you your key and not show any further concern as a human. I am glad to say the one time I really needed a few extra moments during check-in was this time.
I was previously signed up with a competitors reward system. Due to this stay I have become a dedicated Holiday Inn Express customer.

Our family has stayed at this location several times because the building is beautiful and clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, but most of all they allow us to bring our dog at a very low additional charge. If you are a pet owner and are looking for a place near St. Louis, this is the one for you.

The room was excellent, nice bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The brakfast was OK - I can't stand those sheese omlets. But Cracker Barrel was just a short drive down the road, alonmg with a ton of other places on Hwy K.

We were driving through St. Louis and it was raining very hard and we looked up and saw the sign for the HI Express and we took the next exit in. We were so glad to get in out of the driving rain. We realized when we checked in that we had stayed there before. Two exhausted people were very glad to check in and get very hot showers and warm up. We travel through St. Louis a couple of times a year and we will be back.

This location was very nice - we were in town for a family funeral and even with the sad purpose for being there we were treated good and were able to rest and relax.

Though we travel frequently and "roll with the punches" while traveling ... I have noticed that the Holiday Inn brands are now advertising how pet friendly they are. Well, that's fine for all the folks who travel with pets, but not so good for those of us who follow them and their pets.
Case in point ... this HI Express seemed to be a good hotel ... it seemed clean and satisfactory on all fronts. But as we were leaving our room and checking that we had not forgotten anything, my husband found a large dog brush filled with dog hair under the table. Indicating that the room was not very well cleaned, was it? And that is the problem with pet friendly ...even though we each love our own pets we do not want to sleep in the same room, or bed, as YOUR pet! So a redefinition of "CLEAN room" needs to be adopted when a hotel is pet friendly. At the very least, PLEASE set aside rooms where pets are NOT allowed and inform us of that! Our experience really was an "ick" factor and it will make me pause when making future hotel reservations.

Because of the close proximity of I-64 to the motel, the noise of trucks passing all night long was very annoying. The windows should be stronger to withhold this or fill the motel from the east to west first. Otherwise it was a very good experience. The breakfast area needed to be addressed too. We ate at close to 9am and the hot food was out, with no one refilling it and the juice was very weak. easily the worst breakfast experience we'd had on a two week trip. Also, a retired military, I was disappointed with the Priority Club not honoring their rates anymore. This will affect my choice of a motel while traveling in the future. Also, the saff member that checked us in was notable with her assistance and helpful attitude. She should be commended.

The hotel was full but very quiet and pleasant. Desk staff were friendly and gave out horse treats (we were there for a horse how) which was a nice touch. Room was clean and comfortable. The pancake machine is a great idea. The pancakes are consistently good and much quicker and less messy than waffle irons.

Customer service was above and beyond expectations. Room was impeccably clean. Dog was welcome, and there was lots of grassy space for walking. Most importantly, the Staff at the front desk was very attentive.
Wife had a head cold, and upon checking in, had requested salt from the cafeteria to prepare a salt-water gargle. In response, the Front Desk immediately sent up a salt shaker with their compliments, along with extra box of Kleenex, and they followed up (prior to end of their shift) with a phone call to check on how she was feeling, and see if there was anything more we needed. Very thoughtful, and very kind. We were touched, and we appreciated their warm consideration.

This hotel needs updated and the cleanliness of the property was poor. I stay at Holiday Inn properties about 80-100 nights per year. I will never stay at this property again.

Been here many times and the staff is just terrific. The rooms are starting to show a little wear, but they are still very clean and it is just a steady and predictable great place to stay.

I've stayed at many hotels. It's common for Hospitality Staff to be courteous and accommodating. However, I cannot use those words for the hospitality staff at The Holiday Inn Express in O'Fallon Missouri on Technology Drive. They were outstanding and impressive. From the greeting to the way they accommodated my special needs left me speechless. The ladies at the front desk were always very professional. Even if my answer was "no" about something, they said it in such a way that I felt appreciated. Please tell them I said keep up the good work and I will see them during my next visit in a few weeks.
Note: It would be nice if the exercise room had a few weights :-). Something simple like 5, 10, 15, 25, and 40 pound dumbbells. Just a suggestion, especially since its an extended stay hotel.

the 2 nights we stayed at this hotel a car alarm on a black pick up truck parked outside our window kept going off at 3 AM, 5 AM, 6 AM, 7 PM, 8 PM, 9 PM - yet the female staff at the front desk said there was nothing they could do about it. I do not believe there is enough security in that hotel to ever stay there again. About 10 PM on the second floor corridor there was a man dressed in long underwear and socks pacing the corridor right out side the THIRD room (209) we had been moved to.....talking (shouting) into a cell phone. He did that for about 40 minutes.

Our construction company just started a project near the hotel and i cant say enough about the staff. We will be returning back to this area for the next two months and we will stay here as this has been great experience for both my contractors and myself.
We will recommend this to other contractors that come down to this location

Have now stayed at this hotel several times and each time the staff go above and beyond expectations to make sure every need is met. Because horse show mornings can be very early (before 5am) the breakfast is set up and open way early on horse show days. Not many other hotels will accomdate such early starts. Very friendly staff, always a warm and caring greeting with genuine concern for my stay. Very comfortable and clean rooms.

The room was nice, the staff was helpful and friendly, and I enjoyed my stay. Overall, this hotel was very nice. However, compared to other Holiday Inn Express locations I recently stayed at, the breakfast was poorly stocked. Several food items ran out or looked stale. As an example, after I passed on the bananas because there were only two and both looked very overripe, I saw several other guests look at the bananas, pick them up, and set them back down, presumably because they looked unappetizing. I'm sure the problems could have been fixed if I had mentioned them to the staff, but my experience, HIE has higher standards for its breakfast than what I experienced here.

The room was nice and clean, same with the shower/bathroom but the pillows were aweful. After a week of sleping on those pillows, I came home exhausted. That would be my only complaint!

came here for a business trip and will be using this location again. it was a good stay, the breakfast was good, the rooms where quiet. only thing i did not like is that the bedroom vents blow hot air right at your head when you sleep.

The hotel is freeway close, there are good restaurants and bars close by, the rooms are comfortable and the staff is friendly.
The breakfast at this location is the same as all other Holiday Inns; lots of choices, tasty food; I've always loved the hot cinnamon rolls.

Upon arriving at our room hours after checkout (we only dropped our bags off before!), we noticed what we thought were "hard curtain" lacking in the room. Rather than even checking the room themselves to ensure that this were the case, they upgraded us to another room, which although we didn't ask for it, was a suite. We later realized that the aforementioned 'sunscreen' was placed behind the soft curtain, unlike other designs we had encountered in Holiday Inn Express' before. To say the least, in addition to the to-be-expected experience from our prior stays at this chain, this location fulfilled my wants-and-needs entirely.

This is my new faorite HI Express location. I stay in a lot of hotels, preferring my loyalty to the Holiday Inn brand. I loved the staff, location and layout of this location. The only reason I gave the breakfast a fair rating is that I am just personally board with the breakfasts; but, the mini muffins were stale. I think the menu needs a change.

We always stay at the Holiday Inn Express in O'Fallon, Mo. when competing at horse shows. The location is convenient to the show as well as shops, restaurants, & entertainment. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and up-to-date. The staff is very nice and responsive to requests. They offer a daily breakfast buffet that has a wide variety of choices and is delicious. The kids enjoy the pool and hot tub too. Great time & great value!

We stayed 2 consecutive nights. On returning to hotel the second night, no room service had been performed. I called the front desk and they brought up towels, coffee, etc. Later they called and said they would like to give me a 1,000 pt coupon for my inconvenience. I said thank you, I would pick it up at the front desk in the morning. When I stopped by the front desk in the morning, they looked in some type of log book for coupons and said I must have already picked up the coupon. I explained everything to the desk clerk, she checked with her supervisor and then reluctantly gave me a coupon after making me feel like I was cheating them out of another coupon. Some procedure needs to be in place to avoid that situation. I was the one who did not receive any room service and then I was the one who was "questioned" about already receiving the coupon.
