I stayed 10 nights at this property while volunteering to work at the U. S. Senior Open golf championship. It was a very easy commute to the Oak Tree National course and another hotel where my assignments took me. The décor here is contemporary and seemed new or, at least, very well-kept. My room was clean, bed was very comfortable, and the on-site laundry facility was a big help with the extended stay. Breakfast is the typical Holiday Inn pancake machine, rolls, dry cereal, and eggs, sausage and gravy. I do not stay at any property for the breakfast so it is what it is. Like McDonald's, you like it or not but you know what to expect. Only minor issues to mention. The TV does not have a guide channel so one has to either buy a newspaper or click through the wide variety of offerings. Not the property's fault, cable company. Many of the staff I interacted with seemed new and, while not always knowing the answer to my questions, tried their best and were very professional. They will only get better with experience. I enjoyed my stay, would definitely stay again, and recommend this property. It is not close to many attractions but that worked for me and was certainly a well-kept, clean and attractive property.

We were tired and weary after a very long day of pulling together clothes and schedules to answer a family emergency in Tennessee when we arrived with no reservation and a need for a wheelchair handicapped room which was available, thankfully. We asked for a shower stool or a roll in shower but were told non were available. Next morning, I went to breakfast while my wife slept late. While there, I met a member of the staff who asked about our stay. I told him the story, which he promptly corrected my information concerning the availability of a shower stool. He inquired my room number and said he would take care of the matter.
By the time I got back to our room, the shower stool was located and installed. We found out that the staff member on duty the night before had been identified and . was to be given additional training concerning shower stool availability and installation.

We were spending the night in OKC and meeting friends. We needed a reasonably priced hotel in Edmond that was pet friendly. The Holday Inn Express was perfect.
