Both of the treadmills were inoperable. The property looked a little outdated. Courteous staff and convenient location but it was obvious that the fitness center had been neglected for a long time. If you want to use the treadmills at this location call in advance to ensure that they have been repaired or replaced.

We had a one night stay at this HI Express. We encountered several problems. 1) A lot of noise in the hall way in the middle of the night; 2) Parking is limited, the next morning we saw cars parked in the street; 3) went down to breakfast around 8:45 am, when we went back to our room about 9:20 am both card keys had been deactivated. Had to go to the front desk to get the keys reactivated.
We typically have no problems when staying at HI Express.

The room was supposed to have been prepaid. They swiped my daughter's card and charged her twice for the room. She is still trying to get the charge taken off of her card. This is going to cause her to either not pay her bills or pay them and incur overdraft fees. The only answer that she can get is "It will take 7-10 days to come off of your account"

The room was spacious and clean except the bathroom which had mildew on the entrance way into the bathroom. Sofa bed did not have bedding provided when we checked in and also the bedding that was provided once the clerk located the items was not satisfactory. The thin cover should have been a comforter and the bedding should be in the room at all times. The lack of concern by the check-out clerk was not acceptable. I will not stay there again but I will stay other Holiday-Inns.

If you are a frequent Holiday Inn Express customer, do not expect this to be like your other visits to other Holliday Inn Express hotels. towels, sheets, shower curtain, comforters all were stained badly, so it was hard to tell if it all was dirty or just stained. We checked in late (8pm). And when we arrived there were no sheets on our bed! I called the desk and the guy said he was the only person there and that I would have to come down myself to get sheets for my bed. I have two small kids so I had to round them up and go down there. No apologies, just an attitude when I went down there. Both mornings, no coffee in the room. The hotel in general smelled like curry, we just washed everything when we got home. The only pro's were that it was quiet, and my kids enjoyed the heated pool. Like I said, I always have great experiences at Holliday Inn Express. This was another planet. I would not even write a review if the staff (especially the front desk girl during the day) would not have been so rude and unhelpful.

Everything about this hotel is top shelf with the exception of the amount of light in the room if staying on the front side. There are some really bright spotlights which illuminate the front of the hotel. This is actually a good thing because it provides excellent security for the parking lot. However the drapes do not quite have enough coverage to darken the room for my preferences. It is not a significant enough issue to ever keep me from either staying or recommending it as I simply pile up all the extra pillows in the room around the drapes and that takes care of it.
