This is a great hotel! We stayed overnight and had not one single problem! When we arrived, Marcy checked us in very professionally and with a very pleasant attitude. They had already given us a complimentary upgrade because of our Priority Club status, and when we asked for an extended check-out, Marcy readily agreed--thanks Marcy! The suite was very nice, clean and comfortable. Nice firm beds which provided a great night's sleep for us. We enjoyed the usual Holiday Inn breakfast the next morning and then attended to personal matters in Okmulgee. Could not have asked for a better stay at this hotel. Having previously endured disappointing stays at the Okmulgee Day's Inn and Best Western hotels, we were very much pleased with the HIE. Will definitely stay there again!

I rented 3 rooms for my children for graduation week end......the only bad thing.....I choose that hotel because of the pool....AND IT WAS CLOSED THE WHOLE TIME....I feel that was not right since when I booked it that was one of the reasons.....we had 8 grand children.....there to no swimming.......and it was not available........and booked these in advance.......please respond

Pros: room clean, breakfast selection good, desk staff friendly, easy check in/check out
Cons: bed a bit firm, pool out of order, recumbent bicycle out of order, HORRIBLE odor in elevator and one end of the building
If my room would have been close to the elevator or other end of building, I would have had to request a different room. There is no way the hotel staff did not know about the smell.

We chose this location because it was the half way point of our trip. We were pleasantly surprised with the customer service, cleanliness and overall friendly atmosphere. We will stay there again when we go that direction in July.

I took my wife to the HIE there in Okmulgee for a small little valentines day get away. I normally would have booked a room in a larger town but was cuious to see what this particular one had to offer. We were greeted by the front desk clerk upon arrival she was very helpful and very friendly. Once we got to the 3rd floor room that we had reserved and gave it a good once over we were both very pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms were and how well kept the entire property was as a whole. The room was very clean and I could definately tell that we had chosen the right place to stay. The following day our 2 daughters joined us for the afternoon and we were able to enjoy the heated swimming pool with them, Then the wife and myself got to enjoy the hot tub later that same evening. Overall I would HIGHLY recomend this hotel for all of your lodging needs weather you are a thousand miles from home or just looking for a nice little get away close to home.
Sam, the General manager, and his wife Pam both took te time to introduce themselves personally & made sure our stay was a pleasant one as did the rest of the staff. Will definately be returning as a guest in the future!!!

On my way to Shreveport, LA I had an issue with my car. Since I routinely stay at Holiday Inns when I travel, I was thrilled to see that familiar sign at Okmulgee, OK. When I registered and asked about a Lincoln/Ford dealer, the woman at the front desk, Marcy, gave me the name of the local dealer and even brought directions and the phone number to my room. While my car was being serviced, Sam, the manager made what could have been a very stressful day, much more pleasant even allowing me to have a later check-out. Would I stay here again? Absolutely!

It appeared to be a newer facility but was not taken care of very well. I understand the clientele (oil field workers - they work very hard in not too nice conditions) may contribute to this but there were also some outdoor maintenance issues that were ignored. We did get a smoking room for which we are thankful. When arriving, the gal at the front desk was non too friendly - she was speaking to us about the property while doing something else and we didn't catch half of what she said. The windows in the room were dirty on the inside of the room - smears where people had touched them for whatever reason. Our tub drain was pretty clogged to where if one person took a shower, the other had to wait 15 minutes +/- before entering without being ankle deep in water - I would have thought a maid would have noticed this. We also used the laundry facility which we appreciate at a lot of your locations but this was not maintained either. The washer would not accept the quarters as it should and the detergent dispenser looked like it had never been cleaned. Both washer and dryer did however tell you the cycle length which is nice. I hate to be so negative but we have seen and expect more from HIE. We love most of your properties but this needs either new management or a good cleaning. Thank you.

The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful when we arrived. The hotel was very clean and well kept. The hot tub was warm but did not circulate well. Enjoyed our stay.
